I'm sure the reason for the loan is Paratici - but its not exactly a big deal to get a player not playing at Villareal to be recalled and reloaned to Fiorentina.
I'd have preferred if Fiorentina had an obligation to buy but none of the clubs he's been loaned to were wanting anything but an option, and Leeds where Solomon got 20+ goals/assists were not prepared to pay the 15m (ish) option fee which I can only assume is concern over his injury record or highish wages. So it doesn't look like Fiorentina is getting particularly better commercial terms than any other club would have got.
