Ex-Spurs Player Brennan Johnson

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Will always be grateful for Bilbao, he was partly responsible for the best night of our lives in more than two decades.
However he's shown nothing this year (you can blame the coaches or the system, but he has to take some of the blame) and hope we get someone better (not holding my breath).
I wish him the best though and no doubt he'll do well at Palace, especially against us!
Its as Simple as this. Why some people want to turn it into a culture war I do not know. Wish him well had he been better he'd still be here.

Really hope we can get a couple of good players now not might be good in a couple of years ,we need to get up the table to get a bit of credibility and make us a bit more of an attractive proposition for players over the next few years .Wishful thinking I suppose .

Correct. Not winning is a cancer in our dressing room. Get rid of 99% of them. They are kiddie on merchants. The old kidding on ploy that it hurts when we lose is embarrassing. Need some cunt in there that will throw a couple of punches and separate the boys from the men of there is any.
Sign some senior pros in their 30s and change this culture. Go get Andy Robertson as a first January signing. That’s the type we need just now. Not kids. Fucking sick of the lack of backbone in this club. We win a trophy and regress. Pathetic.

VdV
Jp
Bergvall
Danso
Davies
Gray
Odobert
Kudus

They have decent ability and generally the right attitude. The rest should be fucked off, and as you say, replaced with players who give a fuck

We have a group of players and dressing room that are happy losing.

There is a complete absence of professional demand. City, Scum, Dippers and Chavs would not tolerate it.
You have fifteen odd likes mate. But I remember me and you saying this to howls of derision. That the Europa league win was cementing the exact opposite of what some people thought it did. It did not teach the players how to win it taught them how to lower standards in the face of a short term objective and become complacent about doing so.

I think one of the reasons Im less panicky than some about how poor we are under Frank is that I knew this wasn't going to be easy to unlearn. We need to break up nearly all of the people that got smashed on that bus. They over celebrated an achievement that the fans deserved but the players utterly limped to.

Kudus wants to play the 10? I thought he had said this summer that part of the reason he left Spam was that they had asked him to play centrally too often?
Interviews with Kudus on the subject always mentions he likes playing centrally. Does so for his national side.

Just the first of many articles regarding this.

Will always be grateful for that goal.

But think this is a good deal for everyone.

He will do well at Palace, I’m sure of it. The way they’ll play him in between the penalty box suits him.

But he wasn’t good enough for us no matter how well he does for Palace.

Fine work sir.

In early with the last sentence, so, if or when he scores ten in the next six months, you won’t be having anyone saying that we made a mistake.

FWIW, I agree.

One of those difficult to let go conversations but has to be had. He'll do more than fine at palace but is a bit of an enigma.:angehug:

Oliver Glasner is a quality manager who will get goals from Brennan. Palace's style of play suits him a lot better but I don't expect Glasner to be there next season so it could be interesting.

Don’t go thinking we have a manager with the wit to play Kudus in his preferred number 10 position.

Reality check:

- His productivity (G/A) is WORSE at #10.
- He was shit at #10 on the rare occasions Moyes played him there.
- The only manager that favoured him at #10 is the Ghana gaffer (hardly a top tier endorsement).
