No manager should ever be a barrier or an excuse for not signing players and strengthening the first XI, no matter how poor he's performing or how close he is to the sack.
It wouldn't happen at any other big club .
That said, I can see Thomas Frank himself being an obstacle for attracting the quality of player our resources and ticket prices warrant. The guy just screams dull football, lack of ambition, and a top 10 ceiling.
I'm still bewildered so many on here thought (or more likely pretended) he was a good appointment in the first place.
