No, but I think the positions are radically different. They have to do something and what they have done is shit the bed in my opinion, this guys stats lead me to believe he might get 2 or 3 goals for them before getting sold again in the summer for less than they paid.

He was/is desperate to join Barca. He ignored the advances of English clubs because he was holding out for them.
But the deal got too expensive for Barca and there was some time wasting shenanigans that put them right off, leaving him stuck at athletic.
Considering how he has performed of late Barca probably non fussed
IIRC, Barca were running into issues with his wages because of their terrible finances.
There's zero chance that we convince him to come here, but he's the caliber of signings we should be looking at going forward.
He's signed an extension with Bilbao through 2035. I don't think he's that desperate to join Barca. He didn't hold out all summer; he signed the extension on July 4.
Less than no chance he comes here, so hopefully he's no longer mentioned soon.
