Distinctly looked the case as he was prepping to come on for Kudus the other day.
I hadn't really thought this of him until that point, though many seem to have been on his back since his first appearance, but it was noticeable against Sunderland, just looked like it was a chore for him to drag himself off the bench, and didn't appear to be listening much to the tablet wankers trying to show him diagrams of how to play footie.
To an extent who can blame him, he's had a stop start introduction at the club, finally put together a couple of decent performances and then scored two good goals against PSG, and then again just found himself shunted out on the wing in a side that does nothing to provide a platform for the attacking players to shine, then back to the bench.
All whilst Richarlison performs no better and yet is apparently undroppable, and I'm not particularly anti-Richarlison either, I think he's being hung out to dry by our awful tactics too. If he's lucky he'll get one real chance per game, miss that and he's the scapegoat for another week amongst the fanbase.
Fingers crossed this loss of Kudus sees us go back to 2 up top again as none of our strikers are benefitting from playing the lone role, and none of our wingers are benefitting from playing as wingers in this system.
I'm not feeling either optimistic or pessimistic, we'll just have to see, but this apocalyptophilia is tedious beyond belief.
But that's how the modern online fan shows how uber-Spurs they are it seems.
I'm sure it's just a coping mechanism really, I for one know that I tend to post more when things are going badly for the club, not because I take glee in it, but as an outlet because misery loves company.
