meanwhile, Phomesy is still having a cry-wank over Ange, despite insisting he doesn't care when people cricitise him

Sad Anthony Anderson GIF

(and keeps bringing 'ange' up when no one is actually talking about him)

Oh dear... This post has all the humour and subtlety of a Thomas Frank midfield and is as scattergun and reckless as an Ange Postecoglou high line.

6/10 for effort but sadly an overall mark of 3/10: must try harder! :D

Like I said, sack him and bring Tim Sherwood in as caretaker. I wanna see him in the press giving it the large. A manager with a bit of confidence and arrogance even if it’s unwarranted. He’ll be desperate to want to prove himself. He’ll be a shithouse. He’ll get a rise out of the players. Guarantee you we start picking up points. He’ll use the youth and bemoan the state of the mentality and instill a reaction. He was after all the guy to introduce Kane. But he’ll be Spurs. I dont doubt his pashun.

People will laugh but they dont understand. Right now we don’t need another pseudo tacticians master. This club has undergone a lobotomy and needs some shock therapy and a back to basics approach. Sherwood has way better coaching credentials than the likes of Ryan Mason.

I just want to see a bit of life and character at this club and someone to shake us up for 6 months and he understands the structure of the club as an “old guard”. Get him talking about the old days under Redknapp. About our roots. Because we need to return to that and he was around to see all of that and bring it back. Wheeler dealing. Get a loan striker in that’s actually a baller. A playmaking midfielder.

We need to use a bit of street savvy instead of this corporate way of transfers that fit the model of what ever ENIC is trying to pursue.

Min 7.40.....coaches meeting, match debrief after 0-2 loss at home to Liverpool

All the focus is on how they didn't defend properly for Liverpools late goals, very little about Brentford failing to score or create clear chances

Frank is clearly pragmatic, the defensive side of the game is more important than the attacking part.

Interesting that Keith Andrew sitting at the table next to Cochrane looks bored out of his brains at this over analysis and he's thinking of how different he would approach the analysis if he was in charge

In a way i feel sorry for Frank, he is a good guy, very detailed in his approach, but he is the wrong fit for Tottenham. He says in the video he is adaptable but he is going to have to adapt hard if he is to miraculously keep the Spurs job.

While he is still here id love him to find the magical formula to turn this ship around. He seems the type to need to time to make core profound changes but he won't get that time here.

You're not allowed to mention last season's form at all, or else you'll get the possum posse on your back

I don't believe it's the form , results last season were as bad as they are now no doubt, worse during the last quarter. But the football wasn't quite as dull and cowardly

Our total XG last season after 38 games = 59.49

Total XG so far this season after 21 games = 21.4

But on a positive Frank only needs 5 more wins to beat last season's win count which he should achieve

Injuries are piling up now too. Wonder if that's his fault too

But I see no signs that he's lost the dressing room - in fact the dressing room if anything is blaming the Board - so on that basis I see no benefit whatsoever in sacking yet another manager who has been failed by that same board.

But I'm conservative about such things.

I know it's only a paper cup, but it's probably the only image of a man holding a paper cup that I'll remember for the rest of my life, it's surreal, it's comical, it's dumb, I feel like it didn't really happen and was something I dreamt.

I've said it before, the man's a walking PR disaster. He pays homage to Arteta, keeps reminding everyone about being 17th last season, has a go at supporters for not being proper, the narrative about the Spurs fan he met at a restaurant, we don't deserve to be in the Champions League, he's not enjoying the job, and now he's drinking out of a paper cup with the gooners badge on it.
