Usually when a manager is under pressure and performing badly, you hear some noise that his position is uncertain and that he may get sacked if results don't improve. There hasn't been any of that noise around Frank has it? Makes me believe that even if we lose on Saturday he may still be here for a while.

Right or wrong, Spurs fans expect the standards of the Poch era, first half season Conte and first 10 games Ange.

He has done a bunch of courses on management, and engineered himself a role as a manager
But heres the thing, he doesnt actually DO anything
He speaks like Frank, all the buzzwords, all the corporate speak. He likes organising meetings, in which he gets no action. He likes being in meetings on important projects, so he looks important, but he's basically just there taking notes. He has very regular 121s with his staff, but they all say the 121s are completely useless - but he at least gets to tick that box. He likes organising "Retros" where you fill in a template, and then never return to it again.
All of this is genuine, by the way, its fascinating to watch.
The point being, its completely superficial. He goes through the motions of being a manager, he says the things that managers say - but it is completely evident at this point he hasnt a clue what actually MAKES a manager. He's hollow, got no substance. So now I watch him flounder when asked to do something, its quite funny.
All of which is to say, a little while ago, Frank just reminded me of this guy - and now I cant unsee it.

Performances haven't been good enough. They are not of the required standard. If he genuinely thinks we're playing good football then there is no way he can ever win me over.
