It wasn't a defence of Frank - more a general answer to the question and what I think we lack.,
The season is a write off, I am getting to the point now where I actually hope we get thrashed over the next few games just to speed up the process of getting Frank and Lange out.
I don't see any successful future for us whilst they both remain at the club.
My big fear is that Vinai is completely in behind them because he has no clue what he is doing, and they are doubling down, even when it is clear it isn't working.
They are all just in self preservation mode.

You're exactly right.
Its just depressing how severe and long term these problems have been persisting for.
We have spent plenty in the market, but bought Poch Ndombele, Clarke, Sessegnon and Lo Celso in his final season. All of these players were duds, and a few windows before, we bought no one.
This is to the detriment of the football club, they would not purposely spend £60M on players that are not good enough.
In terms of the transfer market, its certainly more incompetence than ENIC penny pinching.
But ENIC are a disgrace for charging fans this amount for tickets, when we are playing this poorly for so long so you're more than correct.
They run our club more as a business.
Very few teams have world class players.
We do however need players who lead and who are close to their very best every time they take to the pitch. That's the biggest issue in my opinion.
It is they who drag up the standards of the other players. If there is one thing that we have failed to acquire, it's that. Even United have that in Fernandes, much as I dislike him..

Is it credible that Frank has 40 G+A added to the squad that weren't here last season?
