Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

"I don't see him ready for European football. He's not even established in Brazil yet. This has been a big problem for many young players in Brazil. They leave the country very young and without establishing themselves at their formative club. Souza is a player who doesn't arrive in Europe fully formed, but he is a player with a lot of potential to develop."
Souza as far as i can tell is a Mykolenko style LB, if you’ve watched him at Everton

-Good athlete, big lungs on the overlap
-can hit a cross on the run
-solidly built and solid in the tackle
-high crossing volume is his main threat, doesn’t look to invert or play inside
-ball carrying and running, not passing
-weakness is playing out of the back and passing/technical ability

Seems like the exact wrong fit next to VDV.

I doubt the cunt has ever watched him

Don't you know the rules. We gotta let all the other clubs do their business first, then we enter the arena
But we both know that isn’t true.
We’ve been one of the busiest clubs in the January window over recent years. Unfortunately, most of the guys we signed have been bang average while a large contingent of the online fan base have pushed for us to vastly overpay for players like Porro and, yes, supporters with fuck all knowledge and nothing but a fucking YouTube clip have influenced decision makers at Spurs. You can’t beat a Hertford Taxi Driver when it comes to recognizing Premier League talent — they’re all David Pleats.

Auxerre are keen to take Kinsky on loan til the end of the season. They're currently 17th in Ligue 1...which has only 18 teams.

The journo is saying we're about to sign Lunin from Real to play second fiddle to Vicario.

Look forward to seeing him scrap with a section of our away fans within the next couple of years

I'm at the stage where I'm just in stitches laughing at how incompetent we are. It's just hilarious! If you don't laught you'd cry.

Our leaders who claim to be showing "ambition" decided to sell Brennan Johnson as soon as the window opened during a busy fixture schedule where we had 5 games in 13 days. This meant that our owners and manager were happy to just assume Kudus could play all 5 games while we take our time finding a replacement.

It's beyond incompetent. I flagged this exact risk at the time of the sale. It felt inevitable! You make your own luck in sport and these owners are the reason we feel cursed all the time

He’s going to fit right in! :davieshmm:

Based on recent reports, Santos left-back
Souza (born 2006) has a history of injuries, including a significant one in early 2025.
Recent Injury History (2025–2026):
  • Ankle Injury (January 2025): Souza suffered an ankle injury in January 2025 that sidelined him for three months.
  • Knock (2024/25 Season): Recorded as having a 12-day "knock" resulting in 2 games missed.
  • Availability (January 2026): As of early January 2026, he was involved in transfer negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur, with reports suggesting he was left out of the squad for the Campeonato Paulista opener.
Previous Injury History (Youth/Early Senior Career):
According to Transfermarkt, Souza has had several issues early in his career:
  • 2022/23 Season: Multiple knee-related issues, including a 48-day period with inflammation, a 36-day meniscus tear, and other knee problems.
  • 2021/22 Season: Experienced multiple hamstring strains.
  • 2020/21 Season: Suffered a partial muscle tear.
Despite these injuries, the 19-year-old made 24 appearances for Santos in the 2024 Serie B campaign. As of January 9, 2026, he is heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.

Bolds well.

I'm sure our medical team will be on top of it though

Thought Dragusin looks good when he came on against Palace. Romero and VDV are both leaving in the Summer so surprised we are so desperate to sell him. He's the type of defender that could do alright in Frank's defensive set up.

Anyway none of our transfer business makes sense so there's no point in even trying to make sense of it. Prob a waste of time even giving it energy. We'll buy and sell players this month and you can be sure we'll make a total balls of it

If VdV and Romero leave during the summer, possibly going to need 2 more CBs

It'll be Takai all over again lol or that Korean lad who's playing in the championship.

He'll prob never play a minute for us and be consistently loaned out to various teams until his contract expires. And the worst bit is we'll be hearing about his potential loan moves every transfer window.

I'm tired man.

We need players to come in and make us better right now.

Well at least we have the obligatory post to look forward to from Alastair Gold claiming that the Spurs management have been really impressed with him in training and believe him to be Roberto Carlos's regen

That'll whip all his weird followers into a frenzy no doubt
