Van De Ven is becoming more problem than solution in my opinion.

Yes his pace is a weapon, but I don't look at him as a potential world class CB. His reading of the game is average, he's poor in the air, he's poor on the ball in terms of passing.
If you look, the best CBs rarely had to make recovery runs and dive in because they were always in the right place at the right time. He has to do it often.
Whilst he's probably our most coveted player in the squad, it really isn't saying much to be honest.

It’s working out such a dream at LB that we should start each game with 11 right footed players.
Micky is our best player by far and has been excellent this season. Be careful what you wish for because we won’t replace him if he left with anything close to how good he is. Anyone happy with him leaving has no love for this club. We need to get rid of the shit and keep the good ones. I really hope there’s some sort of plan in place to bring players in but it’s worrying that everything that’s rumoured is outgoings.
I think after tomorrow night we will be looking for a new manager. They will go with a strong 11 and we are weakened by injury and suspension plus we are hopeless and I can only see one winner.
My gut feeling is there’s a lot going on behind the scenes to replace the manager rather than prioritising new players. They should be doing both.

Don't see many players fancying what's going on at the club right now tbf. I'd want out of I were a player. Imagine having to go out and play that sort of football every week. I've seen teams in the Northern Ireland Premier League play better football.

If the product on the pitch is good, there won't be boos. Boos are the fans way of saying they demand better and holding the club accountable.

I know people swept it under the rug as something in the heat of the moment, but when he snubbed Frank with Spence, that was insubordination. If I did that to my manager, I'd be sacked. Not saying they should've transfer listed him or anything, but a fine or suspension throws down a gauntlet for what is not acceptable.
For Frank then to come out and dismiss it and make excuses for it, that's not good. Doesn't look like he much control over that squad at all.
Agree, and whilst Romero already blurted last season, I think that having signed a new contract and been appointed captain he would have not wrote what he did last week if Van De Ven and Spence had been fined.
And if you don't respect and fear (small f) your manager, you are just so much less likely to perform, in my opinion.
With Romero, whilst he has his fucking issues, he's aiming his anger in the right direction. The other two ejits just need to understand fans aren't happy when we lose and losing in the manner we do is hard to take. Porro has done it a few times now.
I don't think Frank has the respect of any of them. It's a bad squad, it's not this bad. They look to have downed tools essentially. The club just hiding behind the screen is exacerbating the issue too.
They need to realise they've made a mistake, rectify it quickly, while we can still save the season, and whoever comes into replace Frank inevitably, needs to come in and tell them what they are and what won't fly.
