I guess it's always good to have low expectations of incoming players. Just that any new players just don't have any tinge of excitement at all currently, that's how shit the plight of the club is right now. To think we just won the Europa last season. It's unthinkable.

Welcome Joao…..
Hopefully with an Educated Left Peg….

If you watch the highlights for him, it's clear he's got quite a good left foot- lots of very good crosses, and several goals too, including long-range strikes.

He's actually big for left back- 1.83m- much more of a Alex Sandro than a Roberto Carlos build.

We'll see how he handles the giant step up in level, but it seems hes got all the raw tools you'd want to be a successful left back! I'm a big fan of this move for now.

I've nothing good or bad to say about this lad, but if this is the highlight of the window, then Susan get my pitchfork!!! and tell me when the soccer pitch is in rotation.

Just feels so meh! Like everything this club does.

I predict some snazzy media video, does a couple of training sessions with the first team and then spends the rest of the season at QPR or somewhere, followed by another years long loan and then us selling him to a middling Spanish club for €8.5m

Based on fuck all I reckon this will be one of the good signings - usually it's the cheap ones that do well for us. It's when we spend big that they turn out shit.

I think he'll actually feature quite a lot and get decent minutes from the start. Basically no choice given our need to rotate at full-back and Udogie's non stop injuries.

But is it unthinkable though, the club never built on
- runners up in the league
- CL finalists
- Europa league
Each time after either just finishing short or a moment of glory, the club has failed to seize the opportunity.
Clearly they don't want it enough despite, comments from levy they want to win.
