Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m not expecting miracles here but some intent would be welcome. A serious offer for Wharton or Anderson would be a start. A proper offer. Not £25M down and the rest on tick over 5 years or whatever.

I don’t expect either of them to come here but an expression of serious intention is the least we should expect after listening to all of the hollow bollocks that was spouted when Levy was sacked.
Under Levy we’d at least have some new legs (or very old legs) through the door now (or rumoured).

I don’t think this new bunch understand how to run a club using the just-in-time stock level method.

Connor Gallagher really isn't what we need or any better than what we already have.

I've been a big fan of Wharton but he hasn't impressed me all that much this season. He's great on the ball but much less so off it. Now I understand why Tuchel prefers Anderson over him.

As a historical defender of Bentancur, even I have to question what he is offering this team that Sarr or Gray couldn’t right now?

Balancing the who you could get & afford I’d go with

Suggest.
Victor Johansson (GK)
Harry Wilson (CM)
Alex Scott (CM)
Philogene (or Clarke) winger
& Ricardo Pepi (CF)
Finally someone who knows football and is being realistic.

With our state, we can't attract Yildiz and Zhegrova

Alex Scott was immense for Bournemouth
Philogene has way more quality than Clarke, 2 footed trickster.
Harry being revitalised may be a gamble due to his inconsistency.

We are so screwed the way villa cut us for their 1dt goal

Fichajes are full of shit so this is less than 1% likely to be true,

He is homegrown though I think.

The reasons why I’m suspicious are;

He absolutely loves life in Madrid. His whole family is settled here, he bought his parents a house here and playing time never pushed him
to go before. Real never wanted to sell him before either. He’s best mates with Bellingham because he’s a fluent English speaker who helped Jude settle. TAA is in that clique now as well. He’s also really not a Frank style player. I’m not sure where he’d fit in the squad.

Get ready for plenty of press rumours about Romero & van de Ven joining some "big" clubs...

Liverpool have reportedly been handed a major transfer boost as one of their long-term targets in the form of Micky van de Ven is open to joining them.

The Tottenham defender, who can play centre-back or left-back, was first looked at quite closely by Liverpool during his time at his former club Wolfsburg.

Now fresh reports claim Van de Ven is considering his future at Spurs and would be keen on the chance to move to Anfield.

Van de Ven has shone during his time in the Premier League, and it seems clear he’s capable of playing at a higher level than this unconvincing Tottenham side.

Micky van de Ven could be the ideal long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk at Liverpool

Good.

Get a stipudly big bid and let them have him.

Not a patch on peak Van Dijk.

Fichajes are usually full of shite clickbait

I don't know much about this guy, never a good idea buying a player on the back of a good tournament performance
Great sub in Ancelottis side, always taking his chance, and scored important goals also. Dont seen much of him this season though.
He is used to winning, fighting character... I would take him
