Ali Gold retweeted so I guess he thinks there is some truth to it.

Sarr is better at the things Gallagher does, and we still wouldn't have someone who does the things that Gallagher doesn't do.

If you replace Bentancur with Gallagher, I'm OK with it for depth but we'd still need a starting 11, passing midfielder.

Go and get the Gallagher rumors !!

Dude, don't you ever tire of belittling and knocking down this football club!!!!

You hate:
The players
The owner
The Board
The manager
The fans
The DoF
The medical team
The communications team.

Who exactly are you supporting?
Its rhetorical. The answer is: Some warped memory of the club in 1960 or 1970 when your life was better and you weren’t the pathetic fuck you are now.
Fuck off

He's exactly a Frank type of player. I mean he's not a bad player but we need technical ball playing midfielders.

But then again if Frank's going nowhere they're going to back him with his type of players like this.

Sigh

SO fucking predictable. Desperation stations again

And it's another kid. If we sign him, I've had it with these fucking clowns. Will clearly be a Lange signing

Yeah - Bobb is a seriously talented kid but he'd fall firmly in the Tel/Odobert bracket of signings. Punting purely on potential rather than proven output. And unlike the other two, he's already 22 and barely has any first team football under his belt.

If we already had some first-choice quality wingers I'd be more more welcome to this type of signing, but the last thing we need is another pretty lightweight, raw young player with limited end product.

100%

I was just listing the calibre of players a club of our stature should really go after.

You know, that club who once had Hoddle, Ginola, Bale, Sonny, Kane, Modric, Van der Vaart, Klinsmann, Eriksen, Ardiles, Lloris, Gazza, Lineker, Berbatov...

There is no fucking way even of we were in the top four that those players would get out of their bed in the mornings and think, smashing, great another day at Tottenham.

Not one.

And if that were true why weren't similar quality players knocking on Levy's office door on the day of our CL final begging for a move?

Honestly if we sign Gallagher on a perm I completely give up what little hope I had left in our recruitment team.

He's another busybody runner, will directly block Bergvall's path to minutes and basically make it even harder for us to get the technical mid we desperately need into the team.

As a loan til the summer I can just about see some value in it, as he'd be an immediate upgrade on Gray and be a decent pressing number 10 (better than Sarr/Bergvall in that role) against top teams. But even then is it really necessary?

He reeks of Villa to me and Emery would do great with him - if he's got any sense he'll choose them - but really not what we should be prioritising at Spurs at all.
