Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Business as usual...
Here’s a list of Premier League transfers this window. I’m amazed that the journos can keep up with all the activity.
If you wonder who ‘N/A’ is and why he’s been transferred to so many clubs during the last week and a half , it actually means ‘Not Applicable’.

Goalie #1: Unai Simon, Oblak, Sommer...even Pickford is better than Vicario

Backup goalie: Rushworth, Patterson, Pope

RB: Kounde, Stanisic, Livramento (if can stay fit), Laimer, Kayode...even bring Walker home for 1-2 seasons to mentor the next gen

LB: Dimarco, Robinson (injury concerns), L. Davis, Grimaldo, Truffert, Murillo...or play Micky there

LCB: Bastoni, Guehi, Murillo, Schlotterbeck

CM: Valverde (dream signing), Locatelli, Anderson, Wharton, Da Cunha, Baleba, Stiller, Hackney, Scott

AM: Guler, Paz, MGW, Rogers (when Villa go bankrupt), Steijn, McTominay, Sancet (if wasn't so injury-prone), King (one to watch)

RW: Bowen, Inaki Williams, Rodrygo, Wilson (supersub!)

LW: Nico Williams, Yildiz, Barcola, Hudson-Odoi (I know), Ndiaye, Lookman

ST: Osimhen, Ramos, Oyarzabal, Alvarez, Lautaro, Marmoush, Evanilson...friggin Harry Kane

The 9th richest club in the world should've no issues signing any of them names.

But ENIC.
Half the players on that list play for the other 8 clubs richer than us, you've been playing far too much football manager if you think money is the only hurdle we have in convincing the likes of Real Madrid's starting CM, Barcelona's starting right back, Bastoni who wouldn't come here with a much better team and manager years ago, and the starting left winger of the current champions league holders, to give up their already very lucrative salaries and far greater relative chance of silverware to come duke it out for top 8 at Spurs.

You definitely rig the settings on Football Manager

Gallagher is the Frank litmus test imo

A very Frank player

We get him = we're trying to support Frank imo
Considering Poch had him Captain at Chelsea, playing him all the time, it would seem plausible the club are buying him (chased him under multiple managers already as well).

Would prefer Scott, Spurs fan, would be happy with both, given our predicament.

Heard Villa are in talks.

Lol, are you on crack? You think players like Kounde & Valverde are swapping Barcelona and Madrid for a bottom half of the table Premier League team? 😂
I was just listing the calibre of players a club of our stature should really go after.

You know, that club who once had Hoddle, Ginola, Bale, Sonny, Kane, Modric, Van der Vaart, Klinsmann, Eriksen, Ardiles, Lloris, Gazza, Lineker, Berbatov...

The problem is, our stature isn’t very high just now. Unless we offer way above market value in wages, top players won’t give us a second thought.

Players aren’t daft, and neither are their agents, they’ll all see we’re totally rudderless and on a major Everton-esque slide.

It's on them boardroom fuckers to turn things around.

We're a PL club based in London but supported worldwide. We've got a 7* stadium and training facilities. Our history is incredibly rich. We've got a ton of mullah. We aint starting from scratch.

So go get Nico and Inaki, whatever it cost. That'll show the rest we're finally being a big serious club. All it takes is one, then the others will follow. As will results & trophies.

It is absolutely on them. The foundations are there, but these owners won’t turn things around. I don’t believe this whole Lewis’ kids/new broom thing for a fucking second. That family’s had 25 fucking years to put money in and they never have. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.

The only way we’ll ever become a club that competes on a regular basis is if we chase them out.

Alex Scott would be such a good signing man. Really good player and a spurs fan. Such a no Brainer.

Only 22

Fuck it bring Iraola with him
