Hes on very thin ice imo. Frank has a weeks training this week to coach the players. If he serves up shit next week v west ham then hes out the door. Speculating but board are probably looking at contingencies this week in case we are toilet v west ham. Ideally they would prefer to sack him end of season review. Hes met none of the objectives.
He's been on thin ice for months. Ownership are a mess and he's still here and not looking like going anywhere, anytime soon. I just won't watch.

We will get 6 pts from West Ham and Burnley and be sitting around 9th place about 3 pts off 5th and it will look rosey for the thick cunts. We will then lose at least 3 of our next 4 at least and then back to bottom half then they will sack him. He will get sacked on the 23rd of February the day after Woolwich do us at home. To wait that long is stupidity. Do it now and give the new guy a chance whoever the fuck that will be.
I ‘m not sure the ‘new guy’ is anybody available now.
Can see an interim through the end of the year.
Of course, the problem with getting in a manager at the end of the season is the fucking World Cup which will give us a truncated pre-season.

This is pretty much word for word what I said earlier too haha it's gross incompetence. They're trying it pull the wool over our eyes by making out that we're close to where we want to be. But then when the real fixtures start, we're back to where are now.

Fucking bored.

I'm sure Hoeneß could be got now if we sounded him out. Tell him there is absolutely no expectations on results for the rest of the season, as long as there are promising signs of turning a corner, and treat it like a preseason to assess the needs for the summer.

It seems strange now that so many are saying we miss Maddison, Kulusevski and Solanke so much. I think a majority of people wanted them sold off after last season. If before the last window we sold Maddison and brought in Simon's, most would have said that's an upgrade, if we sold Kulusevski and brought in Kudus, most would have said that's an upgrade and if we sold Solanke and brought in Muani most would have said that's an upgrade. In hindsight those players haven't performed well in Frank's system. All very good players in an attacking system, but all struggling in Frank's defence oriented set up where we let the opposition have most of the ball and we focus on long throws and corners.

Frank was a really bad appointment but using computer generated metrics to find a manager has Johan Lange's paw prints all over it.

I get your point, but any team that ends up with pretty much a brand new front 4 is gonna have teething problems. Xavi's new to the league, RKM barely got a kick until November, Odobert's a kid and played about 500 mins last season, Tel still v.raw, ... I think a lot of managers would take a while to get that attack functioning. Maddison, Son, Kulu and Solanke are at least very seasoned premier league players that you know can do a fairly decent job.

That said, I don't think many managers would've done worse than Frank has with those players. Outside of a couple of flashes from Xavi and Tel in recent games, our attack appears to have regressed since he's arrived and hasn't looked effective all season.

Well, Spurs did have Brennan Johnson - who scored in the opening 2 games; and was then dropped. The next time he started a game - yep, he scored again. Back to the bench.

He’ll be here until the end of the season and then we’ll get Poch. I don’t really see any other sequence of events unless we dip into the relegation zone, but that seems unlikely at this point.

May as well get over the fact he is here until season end.

I doubt anything changes, we likely best west ham and Burnley. Then blowout in the CL play offs and end the domestic season somewhere between 8-15th.

From a fans perspective it’s a depressing though as we are so awful to watch and having to still sit through half a season is not something I’m very excited over

I’m not so sure. If we lose this weekend, that’s really untenable and he’d get sacked for sure. While we should easily beat West Ham, I do wonder if the players will go to bat for Frank. They know loss means he’s out, and I’m not convinced that they’re too fussed with keeping him.

Yeah but let's be real - his goals were both on the break when we were 2-0 up against Burnley and against City playing a high line.

Brennan would be about as useful as a chocolate tea-pot the way we've been setting up most games this season under Frank and is a severely limited player in general outside of finishing.

Think he scored 0 in the following 14 or so appearances (starts and off the bench) before he left.

Maybe that's partly Frank's failing but I think a part of our general shitness over Ange's 2nd season is cos we had to cater our system to carry such a limited player in order to get a few goals.

Surely 10am Announcement today, if not he is here for the season......

I just want him goneeeeeee 😭😭😭
