That’ll be it for midfielders for this window I think. Gallagher and Paqueta are about the extent of the imagination of our recruitment team and they’re both now gone.
It's fine

Ben Davies can fill in for the midfield position 👍

Make do and Mend

Tottenham Hotspur , recreating a wartime britain vibe around the club, warms the cockles of my heart

Why did we sell Brennan Johnson at the start of the window when we had no-one to replace him?

There were 3/4 clubs in for him and could have started a bidding war until the end of the window, absolutely mental how this club is ran.

Bidding war for Brenda Johnson? I wouldn't have risked it just in case we got too greedy or the player didn't want to join the club we agreed a fee with.

Considering how hard it seems to be for this club to move on players I think they did the right thing with the Palace deal.

He agreed to go, Palace paid a decent fee. Job done

Of course as always the part where we have to find the replacement will be the issue. Doesn't matter if it's now or at the end of the window.

Seems like an entirely stupid strategy of not getting a replacement sorted before we let him go I mean what if Kudus got injured, oh wait.

Palace would have waited until the end of the window, he's the one they wanted.
