And waiting until the end of the window would have solved what? This is Tottenham where everything that can go wrong will go wrong, Kudus got injured and lets say Johnson remained until the end of the month, knowing our luck he would have torn a leg muscle just before the window closes and we would have been without him, Kudus, and no new signing!!

Again the fault is not selling Johnson it's not having a replacement ready to come in. We are run by a bunch of jokers.

Huh? It would have meant that we're not caught short like we are now, why do I need to explain this? We literally have no-one to play on the right wing, And the luck argument is a bit silly, the fact is that we are in a position now because of our own incompetence, this is not speculating on bad luck, this is a fact.

You've agreeing with me anyway, I literally said that we shouldn't have sold him without a replacement so I'm not really sure what you're arguing about

As I speculated, we were/are in for him. So we will see if he turns us down or not

This sounds like Romano backtracking on his earlier post making it sound like it was good as done.
With his background in Chelsea and the Kamara injury opening a spot in the Villa midfield ... I think I know what is about to happen.
Bentancur injury opens a spot in ours.
Villa also need to do something about the Liverpool kid or else they can't bring Gallagher in.
Seeing as the Liverpool kid (Elliot?) has played for 2 teams, they might struggle.

Tottenham offered more money than Villa for Gallagher and were rejected by the player.

This is Tottenham under Frank, Lange and Vinai. This is the lowest our pull have ever been. No top senior player wants to join us. Villa have passed us out ad a better ran club with a better pull and higher ambitions
I can't blame him for that, I wouldn't want to come here either given the choice. We're a threadbare squad and the best he can hope for is to get ridden into the ground and injured as we fight for mid table.

Our targets are unproven kids who want to make their mark and head to Madrid, old balls that want one last kick at the can, or bench riders that see the world cup in the summer and want to make an impression.

Exactly this. If you were a quality player, and you had any other options besides Spurs, why would you come here?

- Manager is a total failure—clearly it’s just a matter of time
- Roster is a mismatched collection bought for different managers, many of whom are clearly unhappy
- No director of football with any semblance of a vision for where the club is going
- Ownership has shifted, with no clear demonstration of commitment

I wouldn’t come to Tottenham either, if I had any other decent option.

Makes you wonder why we sold Brennan Johnson as soon as the window opened without a replacement. Because its starting to look like no player better than Brennan Johnson wants to join us!

Imagine that we’re all about to realize that Daniel Levy was never the problem, and all the dithering was higher up the food chain?!
I think it's more of a case that birds of a feather flock together, it's an investment company so whoever is calling the shots is doing so from that slant. It doesn't seem to be any different.

In my experience when there's been a change at the top of a company the hierarchy come out with phrases like 'improved communication'' and ''listening'' and ''things are going to be better'' like that song the Labour Party played when Blair was elected.

I tend to get sucked in for a week or two then realise after the announcements have been made, there's no working party to ensure they are actioned, everyone just goes back to what they were already doing, and forgets or ignores the statements.

We really are a bit shit. Shit enough to be annoying , but not shit enough to make me start watching lacrosse instead
We're getting very close. I only watched the second halves of our last 2 games. I didn't miss one game under Ange and that wasn't always easy! Frank has really killed my love for this club. We just aren't tottenham anymore. It feels like we are just turning into a rubbish version of Woolwich. We're becoming everything I've always hated. I find it so hard to see any hope right now. This just isn't spurs. We've lost our identity

You see the team struggling. A manager who looks like he us putting it together game by game. You see the spine such as it without 2 of its expected parts, you know January follows December.

And you act like a sloth.

We will get caught out sooner than later if we carry on in the same vein when we are at a point of need

I know you will disagree agree with and I’m not even saying you are wrong
These issues are more than one person, it’s collective fuckery

Its not a fucking rosta is a squad

‘Very close’?

We are already shit and a perennial laughing stock.

Frank does appear to be very limited but the rot set in years ago. Whoever put this squad together needs the tin tack immediately. It’s the weakest I’ve seen at Spurs (only due to the fact that Kane & Son were carrying previously pathetic squads).

After dealing with whoever put the squad together, you can then turn to (in no particular order): owners, hierarchy, piss poor atmosphere at the Beyoncé-dome, youth/development coaching, the medical team and managers who have been picked as a reaction to the previous incumbent.

A shit show of epic proportions.
