I think every football supporter could clearly see that without Kane we're simply a mid table team. ENIC rested on their laurels, when they should have been getting top drawer midfield and attacking players when Kane was at the club, so when he did leave, it wouldn't have been such a drastic drop off. Now with Frank a relatively unknown manager, and no star players, the club struggle to attract the quality that we want.
A bit like Southampton with Matt Le Tissier, but the difference is our club could pretty much afford any players it wanted.
