Danny Murphy on the money there, too. He's a good player but he doesn't solve our problems.
I don’t know if there’s a singular midfield player out there who would solve all our problems.

Can you imagine Milesy trying to understand his high pitched scouser squeal in the post match interview?!

Your thread on here would be vicious though.Sure but I'd have effectively given the club £2.15 million. plus all the other savings they would have had, and just wandered about the pitch for a while. It'd have made no difference to any sporting outcome.
Just posted on official site
Yeah we had no problems last year at all.The problem are primarily caused by the manager's tactics and coaching, not the players.
We are pretty suited to a back five. Would cover up Porro and Udogie's defensive weaknesses and leg them do what they do best (run and cross). It would also cover up our lack of a passer in midfield by allowing our CBs, who unfortunately are our best passers outside of Xavi, to play more progressive passes.I think there still a chance he goes on to do a good job elsewhere. Man United are a fucking hard club to manage, especially now with that old Tory crackpot sticking his tuppence worth in despite knowing fuck all about football. Their squad was also about as unsuited to Amorim’s system as you could possibly get.
Ironically, I think our squad would be a lot more suited to his style of play, with Porro and Udogie as wingbacks, 3 top centre backs that can all play with the ball at their feet in Romero, VDV and Vuskovic when he’s back, plenty of legs and running in the middle, particularly now with Gallagher coming in, and then Xavi & Kudus as the two 10’s.
Despite saying all that though, I absolutely would not want him coming here and testing that theory just now. We’d get absolutely ridiculed for it. He’s damaged goods after what happened at United and I wouldn’t want someone so wedded to a certain system; One, because you need someone who’s flexible enough to change their system when it isn’t working and doesn’t just arrogantly plow on with it to try and prove a point at the expense of results. And two; it’s a very specific system that requires specific players in specific positions, and when leaves you’re left with a load of players that might not suit most incoming managers.
And does nothing with it. You want a striker that scores, or runs about a lot? He's a midtable player, at best.
Go back and look at what I thought about RKM, wasn't fussed on him at all, but he was a warm body and no risk. But yeah, definitely a coaching issue with how bad everyone has been. It's crap.If you would have said at the start of the season we can swap Solanke for RKM , i bet you the majority of people would have been spinning it as a massive upgrade and tbf for the couple of time Frank has played him central he has contributed with Goals or assists, its just he looks lost out wide.
Its also the same for adding Kudus instead of Kulu and Xavi instead of Maddision, the current issues are not a player issue, its a manager \ System issue.
I'd have found an opportunity to publicly slap Levy's bald head Benny Hill style. All my mishaps on the pitch would be forever granted, I'd go down in cult hero status in the club's history. TFC forum would have my avatar picture on the t-shirts in their shop.
That's handy, now he's back maybe he can get us to mid-table from 14th?.....And does nothing with it. You want a striker that scores, or runs about a lot? He's a midtable player, at best.
A place for everything, and everything in its place. That's handy, now he's back maybe he can get us to mid-table from 14th?.....![]()
You think Richarlison is a better player. Hes notAnd does nothing with it. You want a striker that scores, or runs about a lot? He's a midtable player, at best.
We are maybe a bit too thin at CB after sending the youngsters on loan but I do agree that we have a lot of players that suit a 3/5 at the back system. We are pretty suited to a back five. Not sure Amorim would work here, but if he didn't, I don't think it would be due to his system.

They're both shit.
Not the same ones.

Cynical commercial signing by Baldcunt. It's like the guy who's on loan now .Taki I can't really ever see him playing for us and I think why the fuck we gone and got him. Hope I'm wrong
