Ironically the strongest message from the trust comes from someone who is leaving

The story used to be that the reason why most of the top guys at the Trust got involved was to stop Spurs taking action against most of them for re-selling any away tickets they got hold of with loyalty points from matches they didn't attend ....

And of course an interest in ticket pricing as they had to pay for season tickets

But minimal ability or interest in talking to the Club about football matters, and sadly probably don't have the abilities necessary to hold the club to account over football matters whether recruitment, or a youth system which failed to produce players for a decade after Kane ..... etc

Appreciate your point.

I think in some respects a fan trust should publicly reflect the frustration the fans feel or they look to be in cahoots with the club.

I think the clubs response isn't going to do them any favours and may add fuel to the fire of levy out chants.

I don't buy the "I work so hard for this club argument" from ownership either.

At £3 million a year, yes....yesbyou should work bloody hard

All that having the highest ticket prices will do is isolate and exclude lifelong die hard fans who don't have the financial means to attend.

One day the stadium could be filled with plastic fans or tourists, who won't be so loyal when we go through a rough patch
Agree, but all that will happen is the next band of plastic fans and tourists will attend for a time and so on and so on.

“… keeping tickets affordable…”

:levysad:

Well OK - affordable for the global weekend hoppers and their insatiable appetite to spend on catering and club merchandise…

:levywhoa:

They're a bunch of grifters. Their protests and demands always circle back to them trying to get an in at the club and a seat on the board.
That’s how I see them too. I always felt that if the club threw them a badge each and a few corporates, they would fold in quicker than a Sports Direct tent.

And when they had Cat Law, I suspected a flash of some free chips would have spun her head.

Don’t get the hate for the Trust. Whether or not you agree with their points, they’re clearly all spurs fans and put a lot of time in to try and improve the lot of us supporters. The insinuation that they’re on the “take” or get some huge advantage by doing it is laughable.
