Opponents regularly gave Brentford 50 yards of space and he could counterattack at will. How did he win games at Brentford? It baffles me to think he had success there.
100%For all Romero’s faults he is a World Cup winner. He would know if the manager isn’t good enough.

I think the most telling stat about Frank is how good Brentford have done since he left- they seem to have improved significantly since he did.
I he gets his way and we buy Kevin Schade, he will flop. Guaranteed. He had much better forwards than he does here and his style of football suited them. They played not to lose and attack on the break, perfectly acceptable at a club like Brentford.
Here he has had to adapt his ideas to a club that expects to play on the front foot and failed completely. It doesn’t help that our forwards wouldn’t start for Brentford. Not a single one.
He didn’t really “have success” there. How did he win games at Brentford? It baffles me to think he had success there.
Looks like he underachieved there tbhHes a championship manager who punched above his weight at brentford.
Exactly this. There are zero signs that things are going to improve. Players clearly dont rate him and think that has been clear for monthsAgain, this is spot on.
It’s not going to get better. He’s not going to turn it round. We are sinking deeper and deeper into the mire.
So why wait to sack him?
Exactly this. There is absolutely no sign that things are going to improve. Players clearly dont rate him which has been obvious for months. That game where Spence and Micky blanked him after the game was telling. Not heard any players ever coming out saying anything positive regarding the manager or videos at the training ground with players engaging with the manager. We are a shambles. The players have to take responsibility but I guess we only see them on a game day. This is their place of work and they live it every day so if things really are bad and players are unhappy, it is natural that performances will not be of the highest level which can't happen at a level where margins of winning and losing can be so fine. And the final sentence is the reason we've been shit. The players don't rate him.

I wasn't going to say anything (thinking the moment had gone), but now it seems potentially relevant: in their attack just before their goal, we had a player deep in their half walking slowly back towards our half. He was on his own, all their players were much nearer to our goal than he was. I could have sworn it was Romero, but couldn't go back to check as can't do that on streams. A few seconds later, the camera behind our goal shows the melee around the 6 yard box, and I swear Romero wasn't there. Was it him in their half? Was he a bit injured or just pissed off and given up (which would be weird at 1-1)? Did anyone else notice the same?
Sorry mate. He needs to clear his locker and take that padel court with him tonight.I suspect hes got this week..dortmund as a win gets us to the knockout rounds and extra revenue.
Big one is Burnley..lose and definatley gone.
