While waiting around after the game some ex-players came past, one of them was Graham Roberts. I passed the comment “not very good is it” to which he replied in a very disgruntled tone “ it hasn’t been good all f..cking season”. I concluded he doesn’t like Frank’s brand of football either.

Is he the last remaining Deranger yet to stick the knife into Frank's back?

The rest of the cowardly bullies have cut and run.

Imagine having spent the best part of last season (2 years in some cases) bullying and abusing anyone who dared support the last manager, promising all sorts of sun lit uplands when he was gone - and... looks around at the flaming carcass of Spurs 2025/26 - THIS is what you delivered.

Wonder if any of them will ever apologise?

FWIW - Frank is a problem but not the problem at Spurs. Just as some of us like bus-conductor bus-conductor always maintained.

We must be the only team in the world that defends these shots from 15-30 yards in this highly conservative manner where, instead of rushing at the opponent to narrow his shooting angle as soon as they see him lining up for a shot, players stay glued to their spots and wait for the shot to bounce off of them.

This could be the weirdest quirk a Spurs manager has ever had. I'm more amused than annoyed at this stage.
I coach an under 12s team. Two seasons ago, so at under 10 level, I got one of the boys to take long-range shots while either rushing to close him down, or standing in the penalty area trying to block it from distance (which they’d been doing in games). They got the point. Amazing to think an £8m per annum PL manager doesn’t.

I honestly thought things were going to turn around when we got rid of Ange, Frank at least seemed to be flexible, have some humility and have a brain in his head. Unfortunately it hasn't worked out.

I can't really work out whether we've had two terrible managers in a row, whether our squad is full of un-coachable dross or whether it's a combination of the two.

Either way, I think it's time to move on and try something else.

Three terrible managers in a row seems unlikely so if these kind of results continue then I'm going to be more sure the majority of the playing staff are crap.

The Tottenham Hotspur board were debating whether to give Thomas Frank the Borussia Dortmund Champions League match on Tuesday, according to sources with knowledge of the situation, after the shock 2-1 loss against West Ham on Saturday.

The 2-1 home defeat to completed a dismal week for the Dane, with the club hierarchy having previously been intent to try and withstand pressure and give the coach space.

The hierarchy are understood to have been divided on the issue last Saturday – after another 2-1 home defeat, that time to Aston Villa – but the atmosphere this weekend turned toxic in the manner that had initially been warded off in that FA Cup match.

The nature of West Ham's late winner – a messy goal bundled home in the 93rd minute by Callum Wilson – only made it worse.

Spurs had been mindful of the fact that Frank had been adapting to a bigger club, with an incomplete football infrastructure and many of his best attackers missing for some time. They wanted to at least give him the chance of working through better conditions, but now fear the situation may be irretrievable.
