Player Pape Sarr

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Its all to do with the basic fundamentals being coached at an early age ieLa Masia Barca,
Their kids dont move on to each aspect of the game taught religiously off the park and on it
till its fully ingrained and 2nd nature to them.

Dont think yeah but these guys are at a prem league club and should know the game by now

Has Pape or Archie really added anything to their games that you can really say has improved them at the club !!Id say both of them have stagnated…
And Pape has had 3 and bit yrs to kick on…

Id say their coaching at the club has been bang average ..
You can expand that to pretty much every player at the club, young and old. Any that have impressed and perhaps developed certainly haven't done so due to the coaching received!

Sarr still has the exact issues and flaws that he had the day he joined, Bergval too hasn't actually improved anything tangible, some like Gray actually seem to have regressed. Players like Tel and Odobert pop up from time to time and do something impressive, the inconsistency in this to me demonstrates that these instances are due to natural talent shining through from time to time rather than any coaching, as you'd expect positive results of coaching to be on show consistently and to a greater degree over time.

It's a real shit show at this club right now.

Except an above average ability to cover ground due to the combination of good engine and long strides, I have yet to see anything that stands out. And he's over 23 already.

Not a tackler like Palhinha, not much of a dribbler unless there is wide open space in front of him, and certainly not a playmaker. He has the odd good game, like the one against City early in the season, where he shines as a disruptor that regularly breaks up play; but is that enough? Not for me.

But he's not our biggest issue! is becoming a huge cop-out when it comes to these average players by the way; have too many of them in the same squad, and they suddenly are a significant issue. The same line was used for someone like Johnson as well, yet selling him was the correct move. Sarr is also heading in that direction.
