It never stops. Either the new brand of haters blame Frank or fuckwits still persist with their Ange obsession. Pathetic :roflmao:
TBF if you know anything about sports injuries and biomechanics you’d know that it’s a cumulative effect on the body and just because Ange took the bullet in the summer it doesn’t mean the toll of his methods aren’t still having an effect.

It's just a knock...

A Celtic fan the one I soundly abused when he posted "Enjoy the hamstrings" the day we announced Ange subsequently said it took 15 months for the injuries to abate after he joined Spurs. I'm not making the same mistake twice. Im listening to what he says this time. 😔

Not for me.

The amount of detail that went into the stadium, you really think they didn't assess the impact the removable pitch would have on the players?

If anything, it's only the NFL guys that have ever complained about the pitch.
I think they probably did attempt to assess it yes, inevitably without any empirical data. And I'd suggest that the understanding of how "world first" retractable pitches play was ever so slightly limited at the time of installation.

It may or may not be a contributing factor, but it is absolutely worth looking at. I suspect it probably isn't a factor, but incidence of injuries at Tottenham I don't think is fully explained as yet.

The more seasons go by with us top or second top of days missed through injuries, the more strange it all becomes.

Maybe.

If the players/club and even the opposition suspected our pitch was to blame for injuries, I suspect we'd be hearing about it very loudly.

It's not once been raised by anyone which tells me it's fine.

But the oppo play on it once a season. That's the point.

It must be possible to do various tests on it comparing it to normal hybrid pitches. For all we know these have been done.

I suspect all that testing and theorising was done prior to them installing the pitch.

And plenty of players have played on there plenty of times now and we've not had one mention of 'ooo the pitch is more slippy than a normal pitch' or 'its a bone rattler'.

Think the blaming Ange brigade would have more data to back up their case and I think that's horseshit too.

Pitch is a non-issue and has been since we moved in.

Our injury crisis started in 2023/24, that's 3.5 years after we moved into the new stadium...if the pitch really was an issue then players would have been dropping down as soon as they started to play on it.

Can't believe this is a conversation.

TBF if you know anything about Ange Derangement Syndrome you'd know that this nonsense is the cumulative effect on the brain of posting evidence-free conjecture in the service of a spurious and often malicious agenda.

But feel free to bring a professional Sports Scientist on here to testify - with evidence - that Lukas Bergvall's ankle injury was caused by the Boogeyman. Can't wait to read it.

Look it up then know-it-all! 🙄

I know a few sports scientists, one of which works with Bath Rugby on rehab and has said exactly the same thing, but hey you’re the font of all knowledge and bound to be right!

🔔 end!

Mate you're the one who came up all snooty and arrogant about "knowing sports science". Don't get pissy with me because I ask for evidence. Provide it.

Oh and "Source: trust me bro" doesn't cut it.

There is nothing snooty in my original response to you.

Re-read it snowflake!

Have an ignore on me - Fed up of reading your bollox as it’s plain you know nothing about sport. 🤣

Search ‘sports injuries cumulative effect’ on Google as there are plenty of research papers on the subject! 🙄

Why do you post like an adolescent edgelord on twatter?

Which is why we should've had a much larger squad than we have now, because that is standard for all the club's he's been at. I was told that by my Celtic fans friends before. If it's very obvious for fans, how the club either, A) didn't know, didn't do due diligence, the most likely scenario given our track record, or B) they acknowledged it, and chose not to act on it.

Either way, it was inevitable.
