Transfers 101
Deals aren’t typically done between teams at the same level. Usually a player is on an upward trajectory and goes to a better team or on a downward trajectory and goes to a lesser team.

-Not giving Lange a promotion...oop sorry they already did that.
-Not re-signing Paratici back to the club...oop sorry they already did that, luckily for them (and us) he decided a bit of skirt is -better than working under Lange
-Sacking the worst manager we've ever had but nope they for whatever reason wanna keep him in the job when it's clear he's out of his depth.

At this rate it's gonna take more than 5/6 years to clear this mess the way this new regime are going about things...
The only thing that would change that would be new owners prepared to squeeze every penny out of the financial rules and with a cheat-code.
I reckon 2-3 years minimum with excellent windows maybe less if Moore, LWB and Vuskovic all live up to their (perhaps unrealistic) expectations. .
