Exceptional last night. The lad played futsal as a kid, and I've always thought he is good on the ball when he has the play in front of him.

Credit where credit is due. Did really well last night in a position that isn't his normal one. And gave us some tactical flexibility where he could slot into midfield when required.
I said months ago l(maybe it was the Doncaster game) that he will eventually become a centre back to prolong his career. Hes big,strong,covers the ground,reads the play,brilliant in the air and decent enough on the ball as you don’t get pressed like a midfielder. He’s a winner too and the type of guy you want next to you on the pitch.
I liked him better at CB every time he’s played there. His passing improves from CB because he’s actually not bad when the game is in front of him. And if a team attacks his side too much, he just snaps someone and they fuck off for a bit.
Last night both him and Spence were snarling and nasty on our right side.

Thought he was really slow on the ball but made some nice tackles. Hopefully he gets better on the ball as he adjusts to the new formation.
