Can't agree with you PLMT. Let Vuskovic stay in Germany until seasons end. Good chance he's in the TOTS.

A whole season in Bundesliga will be good for his development, and as a result future THFC teams.
Agree. The fact that we're even having this discussion is an indictment in itself, of how utterly horrendous the squad building has been... Fella's only 18yo having an excellent season for his development, playing in a familiar setting (brother's club) and publicly acknowledging that he has a lot to work on, e.g. with his speed and mobility.

Rare case too that a CB that young (or 19, 20) is ready to start games in the fastest and most physical league in the world. Archie's been an exception with his versatility.

Liverpool just spent £60m on their Konate upgrade ready for next season. We won't buy players because we've got Bentancur, Kulu, Maddison etc etc etc coming back in 3 years

Newcastle owned Isak’s contract. Southampton owned Van Dijk’s. I could go on. Sought after players have the power.
This is exactly what I was trying to explain to people in here when I suggested he might never play for us. The player, his family and agent want him to remain in Germany next season. Guess what, he wont won't be lining up for us. The only use the contract has is ensuring we get a fee.

From Google:

Key details regarding the move:
  • Vuskovic's Choice: He explicitly wanted to join Hamburg due to his admiration for the club's history, fans, and the fact that his brother, Mario Vuskovic, previously played there.
  • The Deal: Hamburg secured a straight, season-long loan for the 2025/26 season with no option or obligation to make the transfer permanent.
  • Outcome: The move was finalized on August 29, 2025.
I read somewhere that they didn't even pay a fee or a percentage of his wages.

And, as if they have a fucking say what he wants, he's our player and we call the shots so if we want to bring him back next season and stick him in the team we will.

Pretty poor window again . Ambitious my arse
agree, they sell johnson day 1 and no plan to replace him
we now hit these injuiries and again no plan to bring in loan players

We have a board that don't ask the staff "want is the plan IF this happens"
look at BHA they have an idea's on "what if the manager goes" what if we sell that player" what if the DoF goes"

To be fair, the squad is full. We can add 2 home grown players to the Premier League squad, but the champs league spots will go to Dragusin, Gallagher and Bissouma/Tel.

WHAT IF - What if you have 15 first team players out injured? Well, you're fucked is the answer to that. Teams aren't allowed to sign unlimited players - there are squad limit rules about limits on home much you can add to your wage bill each season amongst other things.

No Team has a contingency for 15 first team players being injured.

(oh, and p.s - Didn't you lot say it was Ange and his methods causing all the injuries?)

I think we should offer 65 million for Semenyo again . Surely going in for him again from City and failing proves we are even more ambitious . If at first you don’t succeed, fail , fail and fail again , that’s what I want to see my club doing .
