Player Mikey Moore

Ffs why does he have to have another on loan! We keep and buy players worse than him and give them minutes. Why not develop MM instead. Isn’t that what vinai said Frank was going to do, develop our academy prospects. Other teams throw in their youngsters even goons playing a 16 yr old in the PL. we should be brave and show some faith in our boys. No on can tell me some of the players we have bought for huge fees are better than what we already have just they never given a chance. And we have fan base who always say need another yr on loan blah blah blah. Then within that yr we will go out and buy another bloody youngster who will get first team minutes. Our boys go further down pecking order.
To add we buy another young forward from Scotland ffs

Moore won't be ready to start for us this coming season. He'd be better off starting every game in the Champo for a season before he comes back where he might be stuck on the bench for us for games in a row, minimum.

Agree though- would like to see us integrate him soon. Next season likely without even lower-tier euro ball though, we'll be better off getting these kids loans and running a very tight high-quality rotation.
Oh ffs why?!
Every other club play their youngsters. Why are te, Wilson etc allowed to develop and play in our first team but not one of our own. When we ever gonna give them a chance.

We won't have enough games, and he won't be good enough yet for us to guarantee a successful Prem campaign with. Next season we need to be aiming to get back into EL, at a minimum.

Really impressive performance.

It has been a long time since our academy produced. Moore turning into a top player would be incredibly welcome considering how devoid of talent we are at left wing.

Hope he kicks on and continues playing like this.
Bring him home and ship the below average expensive players we have bought who are blocking our own boys.

Would really want to see him tested in the Championship next season, think Rangers was a good loan for him but they're also much better than majority of teams in that league.

He's definitely bulked up which is great, just need to get him up to the speed / intensity levels of the Prem.. his one weakness at the moment seems to be that he gets caught on the ball often.

Would love to see him as a regular in our starting XI one day.
F that send tel to champo. What as he done to deserve to stay when we keep sending out boys on loan. Some of the kids we have bought have done nothing in their careers yet get minutes in our first team. They don’t deserve chances ahead of our own academy players when they haven’t proven anything.

Guarantee some the people saying we need Moore back at the club would be calling him lightweight and shit and saying he should be on loan if he was here right now.

He's super talented but still don't think he's ready. Regular minutes on loan are what he needs right now.

In the summer window, we need to bring in a proper elite LW and rotate him with Moore.

I honestly can't see Tel making it, and I would rather cut our loses and start to give our youngsters a real proper chance. If we don't we might be forced to sell him, and that will be a terrible mistake me feels.

Tel has been one of our better attackers lately. It's hard to understand why you think he's so bad for us in his current role as a backup LW and ST.

I just I would like to see a bit more from him, to change my mind.

I mean, I would love him to take a couple of steps up, not sure if can do it... But if he does, then yeah, no problems with being proven wrong.

Understandable. Do you think Tel or Moore is playing at a higher level right now? Would you agree at least that Tel is currently more physically ready to play Premier League football? Do you think Moore's physique will improve enough between now and August to warrant Prem level football next season?

I agree Moore looks great with the ball right now, in the SPL. I like him a lot and am glad he's seemingly turned it around up there.

That is why I said we need and Elite LW (If Tel isn't good enough), as I don't think Moore is quite there yet. But he needs that sniffing around the first team and being a part of and playing enough to really feed his hunger to want more and really fight for it.

Rather than developing the conditions, for him to want to leave the club.

I think he'll accept one more season-long loan before souring on us. But I hear you- that has to be it.
If it goes on loan and puts in a blistering first half of the season, we can always clear some room for him and bring him back early, start the revolution early, so to speak...

Yup, we really can't keep dicking talents about. We either use them or move them on if we don't think they are good enough.

Think it's very normal for young talents to have a few years on loan, though.

Kane, Saliba, Mount, Gallagher, Rose, Walker...all players that had 2 or more years on loan early in their careers. And there are tons more.

You gotta be somewhat careful. Woolwich really pushed it by loaning Saliba 3 times as he was tearing it up in France and I think he was close to leaving at one point. But a couple years on loan is healthy imo and shouldn't erode a player's relationship with the club. They typically come back for some or all of pre-season which helps keep the connection alive.

Having a player like Tel at the club but barely playing and missing out on a CL squad spot is far more damaging than a good loan. He seems far more pissed with the club than any of our loanees.

Kane only got his chance because Tim had no other choice but to play him. and Kane took it. A lot of friends are Norwich fans, and they didn't rate him at all when he played for them

Sometimes you really have to throw the player in the deep end and see what they can do, coz nothing can ever prepare for PL, unless you play in it.

As the drop off, is just enormous.

Yeah but Mikey got that chance last year in the PL and he clearly wasn't ready. Maybe Kane wouldn't have been ready either if we'd dropped him in 2 years earlier.

I think he's improved a lot in the past year but not enough to be a PL regular yet. I think he'll gain more from another year on loan than he will being a bit part player in our squad. Especially as we won't have Europe.
