Down to 10 against a resurgent Utd. Very, very encouraging, lovely close control at speed, didn’t seem caught out at the pace of the game or the power (except when he got elbowed by Shaw).
Wasn't there a bunch of reporting stating he played a big part in keeping his side up? Might come in handy for us.

Yeah saw him play versus United , still a bit raw but got some pace!
One thing Tim Vickery said about him was that he won't be overawed and succumb to pressure. Based on his debut, certainly looks that way.
Definitely a bit raw but he wasn't afraid to get on the ball or get stuck in at all. Very promising debut given his age and lack of experience at this level.

When he chased back into the box, he gained yards on Diallo (?), showing great acceleration.

Looks really solid in those highlights- impressive pace, and ability on the ball. And thank fuck god damn a player that actually likes playing down the left, and looks good doing it! Thank fucking god!!!!
Spence is back so it will be Spence LB and Gray RB.
Or we could just start Souza at Lb and play Spence rb?
That is what I would do, but I think Frank will play Gray. He made some comments about Souza's deficiencies post match.
If we are playing a back 3 or Palhinha, Dragusin and VDV then Souza should start. He will have the left covered by VDV and as a natural left footer with pace he will give us width.
