I wish I had your belief, but I'm quite confident they're keeping this absolute loser till the summer .

Just got to hope one or all of palace, Forrest, Leeds and ham pick up less points from now till may
After we lose these next two we'll be within a couple of points of 18th and I think they'll panic and finally act

Though I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep him there and let him take us down

Nothing would suprise me with these dickheads anymore

I think they're playing the waiting game that Leicester played with Rodgers in 22/23, the most recent case of a team that was "too good to go down".

They sacked him as soon as they found themselves inside the bottom three for the first time (?) in the season, hoping for a new manager bounce to save them ; but it was too little too late.

Even then, you could still see the reasoning behind it: Rodgers had some serious credit in the bank based on what he had previously achieved there, and they kept hoping in vain that he would turn it around somewhat to steer them to safety at least, before leaving in the summer through mutual consent or whatever.

If my premise is correct, I can see him finishing the season or conversely getting the sack in a week or two depending entirely on how West Ham do during that stretch.

They do the unlikely [not necessarily the unthinkable] to beat United and Bournemouth at home for their next two to get neck and neck with us---> He's gone immediately.

They lose both while we fluke a win against a Newcastle team in serious disarray to once again build a rather significant lead ---> He's safe.

This frank appointment can't help thinking it was levy last dance before he got stood down. Fucking useless this manager.

No, we just replaced an Australian sporting director who wanted an Australian he had worked in proxy with before, with a Danish guy given the gig who wanted a Danish manager he has a hard on for.

Regardless of the reasons you might want to pin this on Levy, Vinai Is the guy that hired him and is they guy that is keeping him in the job.

This board and leadership is the issue. Don't defend it by deflecting to someone that's not been here for months.

I get why everyone is gutted after the 2-0 at United but some of the reactions are way over the top. We played over an hour with 10 men because of the Romero red card, you cant honestly expect any manager to get a result at Old Trafford with a man down for that long. Its basically impossible to play Franks tactical system properly when the captain lets the team down like that.
People are forgetting he literally just got us into the Champions League Round of 16, finishing 4th in the whole league phase above teams like PSG and Real Madrid. That away win at Frankfurt was a total masterclass and shows he can out coach the best in Europe when he has the chance.
The league position looks bad I know, but look at the injuries. Weve got half the first team out including Maddison and Porro, any other manager would have us in a proper relegation scrap but Frank has us performing at a high level in Europe.
Mark my words once we get players back from the treatment room we are going to charge up the table. With Frank performing at this level we are still more than capable of grabbing that top four spot this season. Stop the negativity and look at the Champions League table, we need to stay behind the project.

The issue is Romero has already pointed out what we all know - they fucked us by not bringing in enough reinforcements in January.

While the football world pitchforks Romero Frank is left looking at the much bigger problem - all our adult full backs are now injured.

Even Ancelotti or Klopp as interim might struggle to get this injury riddled mess out of the hole we've been left in.

Were dull as dishwater with lange and frank. Denmark aren't powerhouses in football. They won euro 92. That was over 30 years ago. Board need to go. And when new owners arrive get rid of vinai.

Ngl - I fall for this shit every time.

Kudos mate. Love a bit of optimism in the darkest hours :nunothumb:

He has to go if he don't get a win v Newcastle. This is gone beyond a joke. I can't see my club die of slow death. Do the board have any dignity ffs. This cannot go on. Do something vinai and board if we fail to win Tuesday. 3 points Frank please or kindly leave.

I don't disagree - what I'm saying is that blaming the ex-chairman who not only is long gone, but was clearly being undermined with hiring well before then, is deflecting from that fact that even if that were true, it wouldn't be an issue if the current administration weren't hanging on to him like an STD

When are the board going to earn some money and show some authority. 2 wins in 16 and still have frank in charge. Letting the club die. Shameful this is.
