I see you joined a couple of days ago.I get why everyone is gutted after the 2-0 at United but some of the reactions are way over the top. We played over an hour with 10 men because of the Romero red card, you cant honestly expect any manager to get a result at Old Trafford with a man down for that long. Its basically impossible to play Franks tactical system properly when the captain lets the team down like that.
People are forgetting he literally just got us into the Champions League Round of 16, finishing 4th in the whole league phase above teams like PSG and Real Madrid. That away win at Frankfurt was a total masterclass and shows he can out coach the best in Europe when he has the chance.
The league position looks bad I know, but look at the injuries. Weve got half the first team out including Maddison and Porro, any other manager would have us in a proper relegation scrap but Frank has us performing at a high level in Europe.
Mark my words once we get players back from the treatment room we are going to charge up the table. With Frank performing at this level we are still more than capable of grabbing that top four spot this season. Stop the negativity and look at the Champions League table, we need to stay behind the project.
Was there a new manager bounce with Frank that I missed?I’m convinced this squad just resets to factory settings regardless of the manager. Forget long-term projects, instead:
rotate managers every 6–7 games and try to survive purely on the new-manager bounce.
Ours
A top club doesn't, we are not a top club.
A club run by people with no clue and no ambition. What kind of club looks at the injuries we have and says “it’s better to just not get players in because it’s hard” . We are broken and I’m afraid to say levy wasn’t the problem
So, to surmise, you were wrong, but just can’t admit it.kingdawson said it best.
And today was totally on fuckwit Romero.
There were points in that game for us, before he had one of his brain-melts.
If Frank had begun the season with Madders, Kulu and Solanke, we wouldn't be in this position.
Not that it would necessarily amount to people loving his style etc, but we certainly wouldn't be here.
People saying Brentford's history in the prem wasn't down to him are totally detached from reality.
I've never witnessed nonsense like it on this forum.
Mass insanity.
If he gets sacked, he gets sacked.
We move on.
But the dishonesty and reeeeeeaching to try and shit on him is foul.
such beautiful days i miss themI’m a Toilet Threat Survivor!!
Those were the days!
Say what you like and no binnings!
Friendships still endure!!
What am I wrong about, specifically? So, to surmise, you were wrong, but just can’t admit it.
Brentford just sold Mbeuno, Wissa, their Captain Norgaard, promoted their set piece coach and he has them better placed than they ever were under Frank.
It’s hardly mass delusion to see what’s happened here, plus there, then wonder just how much of it was Frank.
Levy was maybe to ruthless, but for sure he would never, ever has left us in this manager mess uptil now.A club run by people with no clue and no ambition. What kind of club looks at the injuries we have and says “it’s better to just not get players in because it’s hard” . We are broken and I’m afraid to say levy wasn’t the problem

If he'd have had Solanke, Madders and Kulu fit at the start of the season, we would have been fine.
Like they hung to Levy.I don't disagree - what I'm saying is that blaming the ex-chairman who not only is long gone, but was clearly being undermined with hiring well before then, is deflecting from that fact that even if that were true, it wouldn't be an issue if the current administration weren't hanging on to him like an STD
