So you expect managers of Premier League teams to know the amount of red cards all the players in the Premier League have at any given period of time.

Jeesh.
No. But I’d expect him to have a rough understanding of his own players. Not in all of the premier league.

We all know that Romero has dodgy tackles and cards in him. I would expect his manager to also know that.

I don’t know what you do for work, but if you manage people you’d be a shit manager if you don’t know your teams strengths, weaknesses and liabilities.

Only hope I have is we have started to play a bit better since Heitinger came in as coach. City was decent in the second half and United we were fine until Romero. Don’t know if that is enough though.
What I found a bit disturbing about the recent loss to Manchester United is not only that we only had one shot on target in the whole game, but when Romero got sent off the team crumbled. It's not unusual for a team to still play well and attack, even to occasionally win a game when down to 10 men, it just shows how fragile the confidence of the team is.

I want us to win tonight and then sack him after the match.

If we’re under the cosh for most of the game (despite the win), it will give more reason to sack him.

He should know Romero's red card tally sure, but to be expected to know he has more red cards than any other Premier League player since he joined the club, it isn't really any of Frank's business to know all other Premier League footballers red card tally, is it?

It's a ridiculous thing to have a go at the bloke about.

No it's not. He said Romero doesn't get that many cards which is completely wrong and you expect the manager to have a better idea of the reality.

In fact, he should be telling Romero to stop getting booked and sent off so often, as it is affecting the team who are in a dire state.

Instead that quote actually points to a manager not having a grasp of the situation, being oblivious to it, which is concerning.

So yes, it's a fucking ridiculous thing for him to say and it's yet more evidence of him being incompetent at his job.

Sure, I thought Frank seemed stupid when he said Romero doesn't get many red cards.

The only part I'm arguing about is when he said ''I didn't know that'' when he was informed no other player in the Premier League has more red cards than Romero since he joined our club.

It was placed on that Tweet as transcript of the section of the press conference to ridicule Frank, but I disagree that he ought to have known that, because it would mean he'd have noted all the red cards of all the Premier League players since Romero joined the club on loan in 2020.

I obviously haven't made my point very well.

You don’t think that with all our data and match preparation and stats that he shouldn’t know that?

I can go on the official PL app and it’ll tell me all of that within 30 seconds.

I personally think he should know that Romero has had more red cards than anyone else. Because it’s his player. He doesn’t need to specifically know that Holgate, Casemiro or James have had three in the same timeframe. But he should know how many he’s had.

All of it just makes him look amateur.

Okay so if Alex Ferguson had stated he didn't know who had more red cards than Roy Keane or whatever, in your opinion that would make him look amateur?

Look I want rid of Frank as much as the next man, but not looking up who has the most red cards in the Premier League between September 2020 and February 2026, isn't anything to batter a manager about. It's only being called out because people want rid of him, and the more shit they can throw, the more shit may stick.

I can't be alone in hoping that actual, real relegation, might be the only thing that will get ENIC out of my club?
It's like a silly movie where someone has to be clinically dead to get a virus/demon out of them.
Spurs need to cease to be a cash cow to get rid of the parasites.

You can hope, but I doubt theyd sell, knowing its worth a lot more as a premier league team

Instead theyd hire Neil Warnock to get us back up and then think about selling

I think Heitinger has made an impact

A small one, but something

I would sack Frank immediately and let Heitinger interim until the summer

Wouldnt think twice about it

If he can make a difference while handicapped by Frank, I think theres no way he can be worse than Frank if given the role

100% correct. The manager would have been happy to get out of there with a 2-0 defeat. Everton beat Utd after going down to 10 men there but we never looked like we were even capable of getting anything. Yes,Utd are much better than they were but still not good enough that we looked like a lower league team going there in a cup game.

I guess this is what Vinai and Lange wanted to hire.

Their actions are telling us that, so we’d better listen

I would absolutely love to see the "work" that went into the decision to hire Frank

Specifically the 10 points that make a great Spurs manager

But also the 29 other candidates he was deemed better than, and why

It would be interesting to know just what the hell they were actually thinking, why, and whether they made a bad decision on bad principles/conclusions - or if Frank REALLY has just shit the bed since he go the job

At this stage I genuinely think he is just a bad manager, a faker, and he's been found out

Question then becomes, what the hell do the board think is happening?

It's on Lange mate it really is. He was the de factor SD, FB was just a consultant at the time. Lange would have had more influence and we know for a fact he is a complete backer of Frank.

Nobody at the club from a sporting capacity is higher than Lange, he is who Vinai and the board are listening to and trusting with the footballing at the club.

For me Lange is the biggest problem we have, as big as Frank even, and needs to be gone.

I don’t think he’s a faker. I think he’s a bad fit and not up to the level. He will do well at Palace next season
