Yeah I'm not saying him. But if people want an "interim" then that person just has to do enough to stay up. 10-12 points. Its not going to be an elite coach who is currently in a job

Would be another self destructive measure if true.

Someone needs announcing today, and they need to work there asses off in a mini preseason adapting the new play style

If he only got 3 wins but those 3 were Forest, Leeds and Palace that would actually do.

Or go perm now, get enough points on the board but if we don't love the guy pay him off and get the summer pick. Thats a) expensive and b) bad PR. Prospects must have looked at how quickly we get through managers and think why on earth would they come here.

I just recall none of us seriously thinking he'd be given the job long term, but having mild concern the club might be tempted to.

Then after that Chelsea game there was no way he was going to last beyond the summer.
