Give it to Iraola? What planet are people on? Bournemouth are 9th. What idiot would leave that to try and avoid relegation? We are a basket case of a club that manager will avoid now. People need to wake up.

This is the biggest issue. What promising young Manager (or established for that matter, that may have just had a bad run at their last club) would want to risk coming into this clusterf*** and risk pulling a big club into relegation. No fan would forget or forgive that.

Iraola plays with the intensity we want similar to Poch. But Bournemouth seem to have a great recruitment team and a board prepared to invest money from sales into new players. He ain't coming here right now, perhaps even in the summer

Could do worse than Arry with Dawse as assistant in the interim, he talks a lot of sense Spurs through and through. We've had the best We've had the worst.Just get it right this time Embarrassing

Redknapp is 79 and hasn't coached in 10 years since being sacked by Birmingham city for losing 5 games in a row.
I don't know, Doesn't seem wise because he was good for us 16 years ago

is Poch signing that whilst we are in threat of the drop?
Good question. Perhaps logically he'd agree in principle and wait.

One thing that will be fascinating: regardless of what the hell happens with the managerial situation, we'll be playing Woolwich in 12 days. I don't really have any optimism for a result, but we'll find out how much fight/attacking energy the players show without Frank at the helm. I could be wrong but I haven't seen any 'thanks boss' messages on social media in reaction to his sacking. No love lost?

Honestly I'd be OK with De Zerbi on an interim basis before bringing Poch back after the World Cup.

Him leaving Marseille within hours of Frank being sacked just seems a bit too convenient.

Possible unpopular but reasonable suggestion:

Ole as interim? Big good vibes builder but still authorative.

Shouldn’t be unpopular he was a fantastic interim similar to Carrick is now. Sets the team up to play to the players strengths and is positive. He just never had the long term tactical dimensions. Long as we don’t employ him permanently it would be ok.

Try hard for Alonso or Xavi. Offer them big bucks and transfer chest for the summer. Get a permanent guy in now. He will have the rest of the season to assess the team and who has to go and who to bring in.

Right now there should be two lists imo. One for an interim (not my preferred choice) that has prem experience (relegation battle survival advantageous) and a another list of full time coaches you believe can do a good job from now. Random that'll do interim with no experience and wait until the summer and reassess is strictly not the way to go here and asking for even more trouble.

Is he available? If so, we could do far far worse.

I guess the fact there are at least a couple of CL fixtures coming up could help entice someone to do the interim gig (also cash).
He's currently out of a job yes. Was apparently between him and Carrick for the United gig.

And I could see him be open to a interim gig even if just to put himself in the window for other PL clubs in the summer if nothing else.
