there’s a) a ludicrous buyout clause, b) a guaranteed firestorm from their side all the way up to maybe even the presidential level, and c) the fact that Pochettino is no longer a good manager anyways.

It could end very badly.
No a very good manager?

So the fact that Chelsea, as like in our first season with Poch, started hitting some serious for at the end of the season..

And then being thank full as fuck that they moved him on?

That shit manager?

Add this one to the list Filippo Inzaghi. He plays a combination of Conte, Ange and Poch Ball. His philosophy is that every player must be able to do every job. If you look at our squad, most have a potential of doing that. Our Youngsters like Gray, Bergvall, Spence, Udogie, Xavi ,VDV, Vaskovic and Romero have proven they can defend, pass and score. Our STR like Richie, Solanke and Scarlett have shown they have reasonable ball skills. In the midfield, Palhinha, Simmons and Kulu (When fit) have shown they are able to play anywhere

Inzaghi is the best fit for the players we have. We'd only need 1 or 2 midfielders extra that can attack, defend and pass a ball. A few of the other youngsters on loan have shown they can fit that gap.

We know ENIC won't invest, so get a manager to fit the misfits we have.
Are you thinking of his brother instead? Filippo manages in the second division of Italy.

The problem I see with getting a permanent replacement now is we won’t ultimately get who we want, as most decent managers won’t leave a team this close to the end of the season.

I think most clubs in our situation would appoint an interim.
On the other hand we waited till summer last year to get our top target and it still ended ugly...

Maybe lets not give too many options to Vinai and Lange morons cause they will overthink it again - just get best name that is available right now

Also he is Italian and thus pre-disposed to the absolute madness that is Tottenham.

I might be wrong but I'd be surprised if the likes of Iraola and Silva would leave their clubs halfway through the season. Particularly when the risk of relegation is so high. Unless they include insane bonuses for keeping us up.

It's a right old mess isn't it.
That’s fine. They don’t want to come now, we go elsewhere.

Poch and Ange are the only two recent managers we’ve had that I felt wanted to be here. The others thought we were below them.

David Bentley gets it:

“I’d go and get Harry Redknapp until the end of the season. He understands the makeup of being down at the bottom of the Premier League and what it takes to win football matches. Get Tottenham up the table and then get Poch after the World Cup.
“Martin O’Neill did it at Celtic, Carrick has gone in at Manchester United and done it. Someone who understands the makeup of the football club, they get what it takes and understand the working environment.
“Redknapp would get the players at it, give them simple messages, go out there, express yourself, work hard. He understands the way the league works and would get Tottenham winning football matches.”

We appear to me to have a squad (including those on loan that may be first team next season) that is suited to 352.

Five centre backs.
Full backs that are better in attack than defence.
A ton of central mids and attacking central mids.
Wingers that can’t cross or score.
Four centre forwards.

A dream squad for Amorim?

Needs to be a short term fix, keep us up and thank you very much. Our next full time manager needs to be a good fit, and if we are waiting for Poch, then there is no argument IMO.

We'll also be competing with United and (probably) Liverpool this summer for managers. Possibly City too. We're not getting our first choice even if we wait until the summer.

If Chelsea had held on to Poch they would be winning the league right now. He had just started getting them running like a well oiled machine and started having them playing like prime Spurs.

The good thing about Poch is he gets the team up another gear and plays fast paced high line high pressure football. Whats good about that is that even with limited players technically, high pressure football off the ball isn’t hard it just takes discipline and fitness.

And my do we have technjcally limited players
