Strong disagree. With their squad, that's the minimum they should expect. We're talking about Ligue 1 here, the quality below the top 6-7 is basically championship standard.

Marseille spent more on 1 player in the summer than Lens' entire expenditure, there's no reason they should be 10 points behind them.

There’s no way they are beating PSG to the title. You know..the current European champions PSG

I hope all this talk of Poch returning next season is just something to fill up the backpages. He was a serial loser with us when it came to the big games. He was lucky that his first season coincided with the rise of Kane. Not winning anything never seemed to bother him. In fact, he looked like he was afraid to take on bigger expectations.

He couldn’t even win ligue 1 when he first went to PSG and couldn’t even reach the QF of Champions league with neymar mbappe messi in the team.

At chelsea, he spent 450m and finished 6th.

Poch gave us great memories. Let’s leave it at that.

Call me mental, I'm ok with Redknapp interim.

All we need is a 3 win bounce..

He can provide that by taking the shackles off.

Then we restart the project Poch wanted to restart the year he got sacked.

Poch will do wonders with this squad fit and firing.

Never wanted Poch to come back (people really do forget how bad it got under him) but I'm more open to it than ever. If he can at least build a half- decent team again it's progress which is a depressing to think about when if feels like top half of the table is a million miles away.
He wasn't fully backed though, I mean didn't he actually have TWO windows where we bought no one in one in the Summer too?!? I actually thought he got more out of the squad than he should have. Not forgetting we went unbeaten at home under him for ages, played at Wembley too. Think he did far better than some gave him credit, I didn't want him sacked and since he went we've been all over the place as a Club. Under him we actually were an exciting team to watch until the end.

I think it’s clear if it wasn’t already that a strong personality and motivator type might be more important than a tactican at this point. Play players in their correct positions and give them less restrictions than Frank and drive them hard.

The absence of Son Hueng Min was very under estimated but you could see it in a few of videos. He was a hugely significant man at that club. You would have thought Frank would see how much of a loss he would be

people can hate him all they want but Tim Sherwood would get us out of this mess and up the table . I wouldn’t want him long term but I could handle untill the end of the season

If there's one man in world football you could hire and randomly win three games 9-1, it's him.

You might also lose 3 of them 3-0, but that's how it is haha

TBH for results and short term, he's done well at it before. He also would be prepping for Poch yet again.

As an aside, is it just me or is he starting to look like an older Joffrey
Archer...not seeing it

Not saying he should have stayed. Im saying more effort should have gone on to replacing his emotional leadership.

Can't bring it in and expect it to take root over night.......

Madz & Romero supposed to be those guys..... Kulu too probably.

Sure we can sign a few chest-beaters (Gallager & JP probably meant to fit that bill), but Sonny was special.

Fecking hope not. Frank 2.0 by the sounds of it. This Lange, fucking scouting by stats... Fecking clueless prick.

"Taking charge following a disappointing 2023–24 campaign, Farioli sought to stabilise the squad by implementing a disciplined defensive structure similar to that of his previous tenure at Nice. His emphasis on organisation, tactical flexibility, and youth development contributed to Ajax holding the best defensive record in the league and reaching first place in the 2024–25 Eredivisie by March 2025."

De Zerbi disciple

Did very well at Ajax I believe

And currently going great at Porto

Good manager, don't know if he's up to the job but he's an interesting option

Guys look at the list of managers around us: Nuno, Dyche, Farke.

An interim isn’t keeping us up against these. They’re all experienced in the Premier League, all experienced relegation battles before. 2 of them have proven they can get clubs out of it.

If we hire Heitinga or Mason thinking we can fumble to summer we’re done. We are by far the weak link down here.
Wonder if Xavi might fancy collecting a couple million quid til the end of the season
