The absence of Son Hueng Min was very under estimated but you could see it in a few of videos. He was a hugely significant man at that club. You would have thought Frank would see how much of a loss he would be
I'm was Happy for Sonny to move on and earn big bucks in the US and be appreciated and leave on a "high". There were many of our fans saying he was past it and we needed to let him move on. He's one player that had we not kept would never have won the Europa League, Ange really benefitted with his presence on & off the field such was his character.

Was this another sliding door moment our board fucked up on and rather keep him for not only his experience but dressing room influence and scoring ability? Guess we'll never know. He always seemed happy playing for us and no doubt missed Kane when he went.

I wonder how many south Korean fans no longer attend games now and fly to the USA to see him.

I'm not an idiot, I realise there's no chance, but if I was the board I'd give Klopp a mega interim offer and just say keep us up, become a folk hero (whilst slightly tarnishing your Liverpool rep), and then go off into the sunset. He made it clear he didn't want another Premier League team, but perhaps one for a couple of months to rescue a punch drunk giant? Got to be slightly romantic, not to mention lucrative.

Why am I doing it to myself
It did take about 6 months for Klopps philosophy to work at at Liverpool - they really struggled at first, celebrating draws at West Brom etc. And it helped that they basically fluked getting £150m for Coutinho to spend on Virgil and Alisson (imagine owners actually buying players that are needed but that’s another story)

We haven’t got 6 months.
