I agree.

My point is that those people who want poch and are happy to wait and get a temp manager are also sending us down a road that has a much higher possibility of getting relegated.

How many temp managers would keep us in The pl? Very few imo. Firstly u need someone with solid recent pl experience and also someone known for pitting out fires and crisis management because thats where we are.

Personally id just hire a full time manager and pick from the best rhats available or attainable right now.
I agree - but my fear is that any self respecting top manager wont commit to us until its clear we are not being relegated. So I think we"ll go for an interim

I dont want dyche ffs. Ive made my stance clear that the vast amount of temp managers available would probably see us relegated!

Anybody waiting for poch can go take a seat in the championship waiting room and hope he turns up!

We don’t need a coach. We need a dictator.

Let’s be honest:
This squad
just humiliated the manager.
Arrogance, leaks, attitude problems.
That’s not a tactical issue.
That’s a discipline collapse.
So please stop talking about “progressive football” and “projects”.
This dressing room doesn’t need another nice guy.
It needs fear. Authority. Consequences.
This is why De Zerby would be a good choice. He looks like somebody not to be messed around with.

That was the summer that I completely lost faith in the board. I was so angry.

Again, we didn't back the manager. Surprise surprise, we completely regressed.
2016, 2017 and 2018 for me. We were on the rise, great young manager, regular CL football and did nothing.

We then did it again when Conte, against the odds, got 4th in 2022 and gave him Forster, Spence, Perisic Bissouma and Richarlison. He clearly didnt even want 2 or 3 from that jumble sale list. I think the careers they've had since completely vindicates him.

Surely you realise they were nervous. The 2nd half of his first season was sackable.
He probably should have gone that summer. Instead we kept him and bottled the lot. We could have got Poch back after Chelsea before he went to the USNT.

Categorically let down
The thing is he's never really going to talk himself down in this situation is he? [Ange]

Im sure a lot of what he says is true

And Im sure a lot is half true or omitting certain things...

So even though it feels like insider info, Im not sure how much real info it actually is

And its an hour or so of Gary Neville, not sur eI can volunrarily inflict that upon myself

If you're not convinced with the sheer volume of data you have now, you'll never be convinced and it's best to live in eternal ignorance of what's happening

The volume of data says he's shit. Ange was a clueless twat.

If he swallowed his pride and played the players because he had to, he could have avoided so much.

Like playing Reg and Djed in the PL,and Porro and Udogie in the EL...

Rather than playing two of them in to the ground and breaking them.

And this stubborness was all over the place.

Im not ignorant, Im just saying - these interviews are puff pieces, self agrandising, and never the "whole" truth

Im quite sure a lot of what he says IS true, but as with all these things - a lot is open to interpretation and people tend to hear what they want to hear with them

The other thing is - since Postecogulu went, so has Levy, so we are in a new world right now (not that it looks much better) - so how relevant even is it?

Dele Ali, Danny Rose, Harry Kane, Aaron Lennon, Ledley King, Glenn Hoddle, etc.
All teenagers who become top, top quality players playing for Spurs.

Nothing wrong with teenagers if you can, ya know, coach players.

Yes and spurs history was littered with trophies during their careers

:frankwtf:

He's not saying there's anything wrong with teenagers, he's saying to take a club to the top you need a certain calibre of readymade player
