When I was in school, my mate and I did "Business Studies", and at the start of term you had to pick some shares from one of the broadsheets (when they used to have all that stuff listed. Can't remember but maybe the FT?). You'd spend some kind of fantasy amount and then at the end of term you'd see who did best. My mate, Lee, forgot to write it down so at the end of term he just looked to see which ones did the best out of nowhere and wrote those down. He won the competition haha.
It comes to mind every time I see a manager say "well 2 years ago I wanted {insert players here who no one was talking about 2 years ago}". Redknapp is a bullshitter and not even he would claim that he knew Harry Kane would become the best forward in world football.
