It’s just the stupid stuff, like demanding “we commit to winning” and “signing good players” that deserves ridicule.
They just come across as naive and entitled. What are the club going to say or do to that? “Oh ok”.
If they stick to issues that are within their remit to effect, like fan/club interaction issues, community stuff, then they’d get less derision.

I guess my point was there seemed to be a disproportionate amount of vitriol (not saying from you) directed towards people who are giving up a lot of time to essentially try to make our lives as spurs fans better.

That might be a potential outcome of their activity, but I'm (as an admitted cynic) dubious about the intentions of anyone that does such things in their spare time, I usually assume it's more about stroking their own ego than actually doing something for other people's benefit.
Like a criminal who inserts themself into the investigation of their crime.

I'm still stunned that through all this, I haven't heard any discontent for ENIC in the stadium.
Not saying it hasn't happened, but from where I sit, I've heard nothing.

These cunts have got away with murder.
There are things a trust can achieve, but it is more to serve as a voice for fans to express what they think about the game day experience and ticketing issue. A club will meet with them, but they don't appear to have much influence on football issues. It would be like going to a local government meeting where you could get improvements in local services and talking to them about foreign trade. Probably feels good to put out press statements about how you marched in the lion's den and raised issues, but realistically does it have any more impact than people posting here?

My point is the trust should stop with the five principles approach.
Just look at this rubbish
1. Commit to winning
2. Attract and retain talent
3. Future-proof success
4. Lead with integrity
5. Fans first
Everyone of these is subjective. ENIC can say they have provided 500m in the last 4 transfer windows and argue that is a commitment to winning...

I would put a shout out to the new fans representatives the club created last season. I've always got a reply to them when I've emailed them, and a decent empathetic reply - although it seems they have limited power.
