That game tonight is further evidence Woolwich are the PL's little darlings and that the powers that be are desperate for them to win the title.Just a bit of effort and urgency for the entire game will be a massive improvement no matter what the score line.
Plus gives Igor a look at those who have checked out.
Regardless could do with wolves cheesing a draw tonight and them tearing a few glutes
I would hope there'd be none of that now.I'd really like to see our strikers in the striker position rather than lumbering around pretending to be a serviceable winger, so for that reason I'm hoping for a 3412.
Will allow Xavi to spend most of his time in the middle where he can be more dangerous, and will mean we don't have one bloke up top on his own completely isolated, plus more chance that RKM can bag his first league goal if he's playing right up top and central, and I cannot wait to hear the ironic cheers for that!
He's 100% playing RKM - he was his golden boy at Juve and he desperately wanted them to sign him last summer.
Would be amazed if he's not in the side.
Maybe he switches things up a bit cos it's Woolwich but over the remainder of the season would be very surprised if the first choice front 3 isn't RKM, Solanke and Xavi. Question is simply does he set up in a 3-4-2-1 or a 3-4-1-2.

It's because City and Woolwich are in the League Cup final and can't play their PL fixtures that weekend. This was a spare midweek for both teams so Woolwich fixture has been brought forward to this date. So why are City not playing... that is because their corresponding fixture was Palace and Palace are playing on Thursday in Europa Conference playoff or whatever it's called. City might end up having a fixture pile up towards the end of the season. Yet another advantage handed to Woolwich. It is a little weird I thought, is there an official reason why they've got a random midweek prem game against the worst team in the league and no one else has?
On one hand it gives them a chance to make it a 7 point lead. Both arse and wolves are in fa cup still. If it's because of league cup then city should have a game tonight also
But I guess on the other gives us more rest for Sunday over them

What about 3-5-2 with both of them playing? He played him as a striker I think. I’m not sure he’s dropping Solanke for RKM
He played Vlahovic and RKM together when both were fit - that's how he'll set us up with Solanke and RKM imo.He played him as a striker I think. I’m not sure he’s dropping Solanke for RKM
It's clearly done to give them yet another advantage and put massive pressure on City, who host Newcastle on Sat.It is a little weird I thought, is there an official reason why they've got a random midweek prem game against the worst team in the league and no one else has?
