Slim and none I am afraid, but this game in the grand scale of things is an early learning curve for Tudor.
Yeah I am trying to get fired up as well and with Tudor now there is actually an advantage for us.
But I cant see it with this dross we have across the squad, full with liabilites. I trust the fans and the coach actually but not any of the fools on the pitch as harsh as it sounds. They are so brittle at the moment. Right now I cant put more hope into this.
One thing about them is that they aren't a brilliant team who put you to sword and tear through you like Peps older teams or Klopps Liverpool used to be capable of. Not even close to that. Their 4-1 win against us was waaay more to do with us being shocking than them tearing through us. Their games are always tight and super controlled, super defensive. There's always a chance to get something out of their games like Wolves and Brentford have shown.
I used to have them down as lidl bag geeks who dont know any football and yet talk xg more than anyone you know. Except for the smaller contingent of north londoners who are scum fans but basically geezers tbf as much as i can't stand them.
But since social media they have become so unbearable that the hatred we feel for them has become universal. Walking parody accounts.
I will say to be balanced the reason Spurs fans are derided is delusional expectations.
Different level altogether but I have met some thick as shit Spurs fans who fit the bill.
West ham have the same demographic. No surprise since the three clubs all have fans in the same reform type parts of the country where they choose to not know how to pronounce the most basic sounding foreign players names.
But yeah, the scum are just different. Awful, truly awful fans. Same cunts who choose to support Milton Keynes but with the added flavour of feeling smug because they attach themselves to a club that wins a lot as if they've done something themselves.
I remember being young in the 90s and we were shit but I took so much pride in the electric atmosphere at the lane. Granted atmosphere comes and goes like tides but I got into the club at the right time and it was proper. I knew the scum won more and competed for the title. I knew we couldn't do that. But I remember walking into Park Lane and feeling the raw atmosphere around me. I hope we can rekindle that against these fucking cunts on Sunday.
