I also assume Tudor will not start Tel, and that he will not play a formation other than 3-4-2-1.
I'd like if we went 4-3-3 with RKM Dom Tel across the front- they are more capable physically than any lineup we have with Xavi in there- but I don't think that's going to happen unfortunately. Xavi can still do well for us though so long as he isn't snuffed out of the game or fails to show up...

I’d rather see Richie, Solanke and Muani as a narrow front three or a front two. The one up top is just getting isolated and the numbers deeper is not making us more solid or making it easier to play out. I don’t see us suddenly turning into a good footballing side so we might as well go more direct and have numbers in the final third, we’re playing players out of position at centre back and wingbacks who aren’t wingbacks.

Tudor will always play this formation or a 3421. He wont change that up, played it everywhere, all the time. And he very likely made that clear to Lange/Vinai, so if all goes to shit, remember this was not Tudor's fault.
The formation does not favor Tel, Solanke and Richarlison - he will prefer RKM every match as a lone striker.
Dragusin and Spence should not start under any circumstances. Hopefully Danso gets fit by that time or a youngster must be given a chance. Souza for Spence.
Fulham are very well organised, well greased machine. He consistently wrings the most out of his players.

I applaud your optimism but imho there are too many players in that line up who are not stepping up - Gallacher Bissouma and Spence to name but three.
Tudor has nothing to lose really. He has to perform exceptionally to get the permanent job, and even then it seems like it's promised elsewhere, so might as well take some risks. Luca WB has been an unused sub in so many games now that he must be wondering what it must take to get even a sub appearance. Our attacking options are clearly out of form, or injured, so I'd like to see him given a chance - and it's something the opposition won't have planned for.
It's not just Sarr, but I agree. Most of our players give you 2-3 good games in 10, and they dine out on those decent games. Xavi had 2 good games in a row, which is basically all he's done for us, and then crap again against Woolwich. The inconsistencty in this squad is the killer. Romero - amazing game, amazing goals, red card and bans. You could literally go through them all and point to a lack of consistency.
To be fair, with Frank, he changed the team so often - even when fit, one game Richarlison is in, then he's on the bench and someone else is up top, and Frank moved players' individual positions every game too, which doesn't foster consistency.
Our only hope is to get 3-4 players back, get a settled team, and hope that the inconsistency goes away long enough to get 3 wins. Right now, I can't see where a win is coming from. It's ok so say 'beat Forest', 'beat Wet Spam' - but we haven't won a league game in 2026, so it's one thing on paper...
