ENIC In or ENIC Out

My hope is that we stay up & they think fuck this shit & sell .

That said the current valuation of the club is probably way under what they want but that is their fault

You listen to finance experts, pretty much all of them agree the club is worth between 3 and 3.5 bn...so ENIC will want about 18 to start talking about a deal.

My worry is that if they see a NFL franchise as a strong possibility ( I don’t ) then their valuation is way more than what financial experts say , I think the lowest , Bengals , is around $5.2b

They'll ask for way too much and be a nightmare to deal with, so nobody will bite.

Honestly, we're stuck with them for a while longer.
I'm not sure. Ultimately they will know the value give or take 15% (say) based on precedent transactions (Chelsea etc).

This season MIGHT make them realise that maximising value through success on the pitch is actually very hard. And they should perhaps - IF WE STAY UP - take the "hit" and accept what the club is worth. If we go down, unfortunately they are staying. Though the flipside to that is that they will be desperate to get back up.

They'll be desperate to get back up, sure...but they won't do what's required.

It'll be the new "we wanna win the PL & CL" but sign Tel, Odobert and Souza.

When Newcastle got relegated I heard they kept most of their better players as they wanted to come back up so took the hit.

ENIC will no doubt sell everyone in austerity then leave us stuck in the Championship losing themselves even more money. They never big picture anything.
They didn't.
We bought Sissoko
Liverpool bought Winjaldum
Collocini left on a free
Townsend we to Palace

They didn't exactly have a mega squad.

Thing is....
If we don't get relegated, the next coach will be lumped with thise squad.
It's shit.
Uncoachable.
Unmanageable.

At least if we go down, they'll force their way out and be gone.

Off you fuck you useless cnuts. Go and be someone else's problem.

I think you underestimate them. The project is not even close to completion. Once the Northumberland Development Project is completed (2028) and the 29 storey hotel opens + the 16 extra non-football events are added to the existing 14, you will have the first and only 365-day-a-year sports and entertainment destination in the UK and that's when the value will rocket maybe even higher than 4 billion. The stadium sitting tenant doesn't really move the dial as much as people think. They might even serve notice on the football club and make it lease the stadium from them. After all, the stadium does not belong to the club. If we get relegated I would say it's a certainty because they would rather take the 19 PL games and turn them into non-football events which generate far higher revenue than a Tuesday night home game against Wolves.

Anything likely to go on before the Palace game next week?

We need to build some pressure on them.
I haven't previously wanted to be involved because I, personally, don't like the idea of being on camera and broadcast by the media.
Wouldn't want to be seen by my employers etc if things got a bit heated.
But enough is enough.
We need numbers at these things.

Relegation will be good for us in so many ways.

Hurt this mob of cunts to the core. Hopefully to the point where it is no longer profitable for them or the board and they sell up and fuck off. Taking every single shitcunt on the board with them.
Fuck off 95% of the playing staff and the coaching staff.
Back to playing in a proper football league with no cunting VAR, no Sky narrative. No Yankie corporate bullshit which has infiltrated the top flight.
No Gary fucking Neville, No Carragher.
No Goons, No Chelsea.
Sign me the fuck up tbh, I might even start going again

You know what, after reading this I'm all in for relegation.

Except I won't start going again.
I won't give them my hard earned money. Nor will I pay for Sky or TNT sports etc. None of my money will go to Tottenham unless indirectly through a sponsor I'm unaware of.

I will not use Kraken, AIA or any other sponsors I see associated with the club.
Was looking at laptops last night and noticed a Tottenham badge in the affiliations section - then closed the website.

So many dickheads in our fanbase who want to get relegated and think it will somehow teach ENIC a lesson and force them to sell, what? 😵‍💫

I don’t really underestimate them as I’ve been against the fuckers for almost 2 decades but now the figure head has gone I’m hoping ( yes hope ) that they’re finding the footballing side a pain in the arse that they clearly have no idea about . They can keep the NDP & make their money but sell the club , even if that means the new owners leasing out the stadium to the greedy bastards. All aspects are divide up anyway but if they continue to run the club with their so called plan then it’s only going to get more toxic .

You sell the football club to someone else , hopefully with ambition, you make a profit and it’s no longer your problem

I understand your point of view and like you I hate these cunts with a real passion. But honestly, who is going to buy a football club with no stadium? They might do a 99 year lease but it won't be cheap. The new owners will then have to fund the playing side without the non football events and most likely regular European football. It will be the 90s all over again. That will move us out of the big six status and into a similar bracket with Everton, Newcastle and Villa.

Being relegated won't make them sell. They will continue to make a profit.
All it would do is delay any potential for them selling as they wouldn't sell with the price at low point, when being promoted again to increase the valuation again is only a season away.

They would just make their money from the whole Tottenham portfolio and be further away from selling then they have ever been.

What I think a lot of fans fail to realise now, is that top level football is just a soap opera. Like American wrestling. Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior will have their ups and downs, but ultimately will win and be champions in spells. It's all orchestrated to maximise engagement from idiots on social media, generate back and forth banter and ultimately please the masses.

World Cup, Champions League, Premier League - all follow similar models. The popularity of their product is all that matters. Whilst Man Utd might be Hulk Hogan, Chelsea as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Man City as John Cena - Tottenham are Doink the Clown. An important part of the product for everyone to laugh at, get thrown a bone to chew on now and then but never have a hope in hell of beating the big boys.
If we got relegated, they would need a new Doink and I don't think the directors and scriptwriters want that. You watch - we will start getting some dodgy as fuck decisions going our way very soon. Enough for safety and people to say "they even themselves out over a season". We are an important part of the show in our own way, but don't kid yourself that Premier League football is as 'real' as the Football League.

You could argue being in that bracket is way better than what we are now 😂
