If we stay up it SHOULD be a huge wake up call to the board that they either need to pay up or fuck off. This squad needs a major overhaul. £500m+ on new talent, medical team, recruitment team and manager + coaching staff.

We’re becoming an Everton. Just happy to be here.
And if that's what we are, we shouldn't have the most expensive tickets in the fucking league then

I thought we might get a point yesterday tbh. Was optimistic we'd show real fight and Woolwich were in a tricky place. Now, for the first time, I'm thinking we might well go down. I still on balance think Forest are more likely to go, but right now we're the worst team in the league, and if we don't improve very quickly we're down.
There was a concerning lack of anything resembling a football team yesterday, again.
I don't recall many times we managed to string 5 useful passes together in their half. Even non-league sides can manage that.

But we do have players coming back in the coming weeks.
As long as no one else goes down, we'll have Romero back from suspension, Porro and Udogie back soon. Richarlison is already back. Danso could be soon, too.
It's going to be extremely difficult for a month now, trying to take some points in games we MUST win, with limited playing staff and trying no to over exert in those games, too.

It's said that you're only as good as your last game(s) and with our awful form and being completely outclassed by Woolwich, it hurts. So I completely understand why so many of us are expected the worst, particularly when the media keep stoking up the possibility for clicks.

But even with all that, I'm not that worried yet about relegation, our fixture list looks a lot better than West Ham or Forest, we have an interim manager with a good record taking over clubs in a mess and our recent form has been against some of the hardest teams in the league.

Yes we are in a mess and we have the worst available squad in my memory. But we need to just get through this supporting the team as much as we can while trying to not let negativity drag us down. That's my main concern, that a negative atmosphere could make things toxic for our run in and be the final nail in our coffin. But I won't worry about that for at least 4 games.

The fact that we are even in this position is damning on the club, but I won't focus on that until we are safe.

Good chart

I think alot of it is dependent on injuries. Getting Romero, Danso, Udogie, Porro, Bergvall and Kudus back and maybe one of Kulusevski or Maddison significantly changes things.

I really can't see where the three wins are coming from. I would be really happy to be proved wrong

We have just played City, Newcastle, United and Woolwich. Four of the best teams in the league on paper anyway. We only have Chelsea, Liverpool and Villa out of our remaining 11 that are top sides. That is 8 games winnable admittedly the hardest might be Fulham away next week but then 7 games weaker than all those. If we cant pick up some points especially with some of our injured players coming back we don’t deserve to stay up.

We aren't much worse than Fulham, Palace, Sunderland, Forest, Brighton, Wolves, Leeds, Everton. If we get a few bounces our way, we can win a few of those games.

We just have a disastrous mentality. If things don't go our way, we have a handful of sulkers that bring the whole level down. We also give up at the end of games far more often than your average club.

We are years away from being relevant again, but I think we have a shot to avoid relegation. Not sure how much it matters though as this club is going nowhere but down without huge changes.

I wouldn't trust our owners to spend £5 on sweets, let alone £500m on players.
They'd blow the lot on 25 teenagers.

I think you'll see a much worse level of opposition in the next few weeks....

And if we CAN'T beat at least two or three of Palace, Brighton, Forest or Everton at home, then we really don't deserve to be in the same division as them next season!!
That's the problem "much worse level opposition" have fight in them, we have pussies.

Playing home is our issue.

I think we are doomed. Cant see us beating any team in the PL till end of season.

I feel the same but the law of averages says we will win a few. It's just difficult to know which games will be the ones Spurs win.

My biggest concern is that if we are within touching distance of going down, by the last few games, other clubs may deliberately let the likes of Spam, Forest and Leeds win games they wouldn't have won earlier in the season.

We are right in the shit tbh.

This team does not win back to back games.

I think we are poor enough to actually go down.

Agree but think we need to dig out a couple of scrappy results because I’m not expecting the bounce to go our way until we shake off the negative energy.

Maybe that happens at Fulham, maybe vs Palace in front of a raucous stadium. I’m sure it will happen though. Tudor will be hammering confidence and belief into them, something has to give.

This is comfortably the worst Spurs team I have ever seen in the last 49 seasons.
For context; during the relegation battles in the 90's the team's involved contained players such as; Sheringham, Barmby, Anderton, Carr, (S)cumbell, Klinsmann, Ferdinand and Ginola.
This team is absolute gash.
Those defending these players need to give their heads a wobble.
I agree with the sentiment of your post but the fact the players are gash isn't a fault of theirs so there is nothing there to defend.
The fault is firmly on the shoulders of the board for filling out the squad with these players.
That's where the criticism should be fired. All of it should be aimed at the rotten, stinking ownership.
