Why are starting this from the 2023 season again?

Because it's relevant to how we play today with our current back 5 whereas 2021/22 is not?
But the person you're quoting didn't ask anything about that???

He asked

"What were the games we were winning with him? Its like you have had your memory wiped. The last game we actually won...guess what no Romero. This very disingenuous take".

In which you brought up our win loss record without him...yet conveniently left out his first 2 seasons again?

Feel free to add them yourself champ. I don't see the relevance as 4 of the other first choice back 5 weren't at our club then 🤷‍♂️ but if you want to include his debut season knock yourself out. Doing so just increases the lesson that, over time, he's clearly become our most important player - especially as we sell all our other good players.

Why don't we just address this season's data? What lessons do you draw from the data that we've drawn 8 times with Romero playing but haven't drawn a game at all when he's been missing? Do you have any conclusions or are you just spamming to confuse the issue?

Because it protects him. Lets now factor in certain other players presence in those wins....
He's up there as one of the biggest hypocrites on the whole site.

The guy (a few weeks ago) had a go at me for "missing an entire season of stats" on Romero and questioned me on it. I told him that it was because he had only missed 5 games in the 23/24 season and those 5 games coincided with us also missing VDV, Udogie, Maddison in the exact same game and subsequently in games after so it was impossible to pinpoint who we were actually missing most.

He laughed and said I was disingenuous....then no more then 5 minutes later posted our win loss stats with Romero in and out the team AND MISSED TWO ENTIRE SEASONS.

Now he's actually arguing that we have to factor in other things like formations, other players presence ....yet didn't accept my reasoning for the exact same thing. So all over the place it's unreal yet he will preach and preach about who is a good poster and who isn't.

Hypocrites..yuck.

Frank's gone. If we go down this season, it won't be his fault. It'll be down to the worst captain imaginable, Romero, setting a terrible example. Only someone like him could drag a club like Spurs into this mess. And the worst part? The people letting him get away with it, week after week.

I then went an inputted those seasons which just proves how much more important Romero has become to our team over time. You disappeared when I pointed this out :roflmao:

You are very strange mate. For the purposes of any discussion relevant to today you take data that's relevant to the current team. It's really that simple.

When you are prepared to be serious please return with serious arguments

Not sure he's that good mate... is he any better than Joe Rodon... no, and we flogged him to Leeds... it's the same as Sarr, Bentancur, Pahlinha... no better than Winks and Skipp... I was all for selling these players but we didn't upgrade. We sidegraded at best.
I don’t see why you say that…. He’s average on the ball b it not really seen a mistake defensively. Agree on the midfielders

There you go trying to rewrite history AGAIN.

You're initial argument wasn't "how much more important Romero has become over time". That became your argument after it was pointed to you that you had missed TWO ENTIRE SEASONS of data (whilst calling out someone for missing one and saying it was wrong to do that loooooooooooool).

Once presented with the 2 season of stats that you conveniently missed you then started the "ah look look how important he has now become" but prior to that you was simply stating we have been a better team with him then without him.

Man actually thought he was in "men in black" and got the old flash pen out to erase 2 seasons of data hahaha the shame.I wouldn't even mind that but the constant preaching about what a good fan should behave like blah blah blah

My guy - the only argument I've ever made is that Christian Romero is clearly our most important player.

All this ranting by you is just so much deranged blather trying to escape that.

I don't even think it's a "good" thing that he's our most important player. In fact I think it's objectively bad. But you can't even get to that bit of serious engagement because something's snapped in you and you're now incapable of rational conversation.

That's fine. But it's not going to stop me posting data for those who are capable of rational conversation.

By the way there's a direct line of sight between those who think Kevin Danso is a better footballer than Christian Romero and those who thought Thomas Frank was the first and best choice to replace Ange Postecoglou.

Hmm....

Not sure that's balanced.

If we go down, God forbid,a fair whack of that is on the previous manager but also those who kept him in situ for too long. Paucity all over the shop right there and savage incompetence.

On Romero, I think he is a poor captain, and that's unhelpful and not as it should be.

He is not however alone on the pitch, but should lead better, and when he plays well of course he is an obvious asset to the team.

All I know is that he owes the fans a few top quality games between now and the end of the season.
