There is nothing left other than the idea that we have better players than those teams and Tudor will get more from the squad.

But I'm not sure I believe it.
Players like Muani and Simons are big names but there's no evidence they are better PL players than those at West Ham or Forest.

Shit just got real. The fact we're looking out for Liverpool/West Ham and Leeds/City cos of the West Ham/Leeds outcomes, rather than the Liverpool/City results, are telling....
Though it does fill me with a BIT of confidence....

How so? He's currently playing in the Bundesliiga... which, as numerous people have pointed out, is merely a Farmers league... apparently it's on a par with The Championship at best!

There isn't any reason to suspect that Spam will be better than us the rest of the way.

The idea of a grand and glorious resurgence of the Spam was hung completely on a turn where they won 3 from 4, starting with the arrival of the good Doctor of course, but they have failed to win since, and had not won at all since November otherwise.

Forest is a concern as they are able to manage draws and our lead is only 2, but it's still overwhelming odds that it'll be Spam going down. Not by any virtue of ours but that they are just bad enough.

I think back 3 back 4 we are fucked either way, could argue that if you're playing Palhinha and Gallagher as your double pivot you can forget about any sort of build up or progressive passing and we don't have any wingers anyway so back 3 with wing backs probably suits us better.

Regardless of all that my point is that I don't think the formation is that important, we are clearly lacking the basics or any confidence in our play.
 
A lot of talk about which players would not want to play in the Championship. To be honest, why would they not. It's because of them that we would be there. However I don't think we will be relegated.

We couldn’t afford the wages IF we went down , it’s that simple . I read that Deki & Madders wages alone is about £16m & we’ve no idea when they’re back

Spam's next 4: Liverpool, Fulham, City, Villa. Following onto that they have Wolves, but Wolves done Spam over 3-0 just a few weeks ago. They have Scum remaining on their list as well. There are no easy pickings remaining for the Spam at all. They get no points off Fulham and there may be none for a month.

Everyone here says "I don't see any wins on our schedule" but it's difficult to see points for the Spam and we've got a lead on them. 3 or 4 points could very likely save us.
 
If we do go down it will be great to lose some of the foreigners who can't be arsed.

Bring in some English talent and build a proper team with some spirit and leadership.

Agree - my point is forest will finish 8 points above em, if not more.

Yeah players like Spence have been true warriors for the cause. Let's get more English lads in just because of their nationality and not worry about whether they're any good or, you know, give a shit.
