Rules Referees & Impartiality: Can this be delivered on a consistent basis?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The nightmare scenario about playing Palace next is that the PGMOL cannot give a big decision against them on Thursday now. Even though they 100% owe us, I imagine Palace will get priority. Its easy to screw us. Everyone in the media enjoys it. We see regular backlash against all these decisions but not when its spurs. Its funny when its spurs

Absolutely no question Palace will get the home ref. May as well just get over it now

Dermott Gallagher says there was no foul on Dragusin a week after saying there was a foul on Gabriel. He also said the Romero/Ekiteke push was not a foul and not giving our goal earlier this season against spammers was fine.

full corruption.

Could they show him all 4 clips together and get him to explain it? They won't but if it was another club they would. We really are just a laughing stock to everyone else. Its no big deal and quite funny when a decision goes against spurs. Any other team and its outrage.

Well this makes me feel a WHOLE lot better then!
You didn't think it was a foul... we all did!
so that's that sorted then . At least we know. Thanks for that Dermot!!!!!

Easy for Gooner Bothroyd to say he thought both decisions AGAINST TOTTENHAM should've gone the OTHER way... That doesn't help us now, does it?

They showed him 3 of them together (not the spammers one) and he still said that. They dont care when its us, they couldnt give a shit.

Theyve still not discussed the most blatant handball against spammers and swept that under the rug never to be seen and spoken about again.

They should do it like on The Voice, where they blank out the kits and the players faces, or just an AI animation of the shapes of the players, without any indication as to what teams are playing, and show each example to them then...

The ONLY deciding factor it feels is the badge on the shirt involved!

If it's a cockerel, you're fucked!

I KNOW it would wreck the club, and take us YEARS to recover, but maybe we ARE better off without all the filthy corruption, greed and sportswaashing of the Premier League....

Perhaps we should listen to everyone telling us we're shit, and go down to our 'rightful place' in the Championship... Go again from there, and maybe start actually enjoying football again.
Cos THIS... whatever THIS IS, is very fucking far from enjoyable!

Yeah i get you bro. It just feels like the whole league wants us to go down just to make themselves feel better. There has always been a negative media bias against us but its clearly filtered into the PGMOL and referees at this stage. Its blatant by now and we've just accepted it at this stage. A big decision goes against us every week and it just feels normal.

The agenda and momentum against us atm is on another level. We are literally swimming against a tsunami and if we don't go down this season then they'll all want us down next season. It a great story for everyone else. Its a great story for the premier league. It just feels inevitable now. We aren't playing well or fighting enough but we also are getting screwed by officials every week. Maybe we should just follow the script, go down, back our young players and comeback a different animal. Because what is happening now is just toxic on all levels

When you see what Woolwich get away with every game, and compare to how Spurs get penalised for a fraction of what they do, there's no doubt, the whole league is corrupt.

Chelsea informed of VAR mistake as Woolwich escape Declan Rice penalty

Chelsea should have been awarded a penalty in their defeat by Woolwich, a former Premier League referee has said.

Dermot Gallagher, the former top-flight official, alleged Declan Rice to have handled a Reece James corner while tussling with Chelsea left-back Jorrel Hato.
The Gunners extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points with their derby day victory, having seen Manchester City close the gap to two with a win over Leeds on Saturday.
On Sky Sports’ ‘Ref Watch’, Gallagher concluded that Rice should have had a penalty given against him for handball.
"I thought it was a penalty,” Gallagher said.
“I think he moves his arm to the ball and his arm shouldn't be up that high.
"I get told it's because he's engaging with an opponent, but in my opinion you shouldn't be engaged with an opponent that high up, he shouldn't have his arms around his shoulder."
The incident - as well as numerous others during Woolwich’s 2-1 win at the Emirates Stadium - heated up discourse on holding in dead-ball scenarios.

Idk if its bias, but when there are millions and million of pounds on the line with a team getting relegated vs staying in the PL the refs simply have to be better and more consistent. Its almost laughable that the same play happened in consecutive games and the decisions were different.

Do they release the testing schedules in the premier League?

In a league this physically intense, I’d bet testing schedules could make a huge difference

Tests are all unannounced, for obvious reasons.
Players in Premier League get about 4 tests each per year on average, with one or 2 players randomly picked after each match, and tests done at training ground and out of season also.

According to AI it’s random selection or based on intelligence and each athlete’s biological passport…

Seems pretty opaque. I wonder if any journalist would ever be brave enough to do a FOI request to get the data breakdown on when tests actually were done on each club and player. Also wonder if any agents have managed to penetrate the warning/notice system.

I shy away from paranoid conspiracy theories in all fields but lord knows, it's hard to in this case.

It's like there's a narrative being peddled at best, an actual agenda at worst.

Not that the decisions in the NLD and yesterday were the reason for us capitulating, we were more than capable of doing that on our own, but they do become contributing factors in the team's psyche I'm sure.
