We had a few arranged protesters last season. A season in which we won a European Trophy. Everyone wanted change. And they got what they wanted. Bad bald man gone.

And things have got worse. So much worse.

Where are the protesters now? Why aren’t they out on the streets setting fire to shit? Where are Change? What are the Trust doing? Is this descent into the Championship just being accepted by everyone? Was last year purely about getting rid of Levy? Seems that may be the case.

I think we're mostly in a space of purgatory at the moment. We wanted change from Levy and I imagine most were prepared the new powers that be a bit of a grace period. We just weren't expecting it to be such a monument fuck up so I imagine many are simply bamboozled.

We also finished 17th. Funny you included the “European trophy” but not that little fact. Of course there were protests when the club had 38 points.

We are dealing with the Levy fallout still. He left all of 5 minutes ago. His signings and structure are left behind. So the new regime has time to change things round.

This relegation threatened Spurs side is a Levy construct.

I cannot believe how many people are failing to grasp this truth.

Ange and Frank were Levy hires.

I think it is safe to assume that Frank was approached around Christmas 2024 and insisted on staying at Brentford until the end of the season.

That is what probably led to the collapse in morale last season which has now carried over into this season once this group of wankers in the Spurs squad decided they were not having Frank either; around the time we played Bournemouth at home.

Levy has left Spurs a legacy of low wage mediocrity managed by amateurs.

ENIC, without Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy making the decisions, may well prove to be as bad if not worse.

However; We are not measuring apples with apples based on the time they have had so far to begin the process of unravelling Daniel Levy's rebranded Spurs.

Yes, and also culturally and fundamentally, the fact that football success was not prioritised in the way it apparently is at our successful rivals. Not an approach that will likely result in a great team. Poch was the aberration for a couple of years,

It baffles me that people think the current situation makes him look good.

The club was Levy at the point he was sacked.

It was Levy Hotspur FC.

Those of us who had known this, for up to two decades, felt the suffocation of this greedy bastard.

Many of those who chose to believe in Levy's methods, up until he was shitcanned, have suddenly found the bollocks to look at the situation, without the Levy goggles, and pass judgement on people who have had one window without Levy to put things right.

Where was all this righteous anger when Levy took the piss for decades?

He got away with it for years as we stumbled upon some absolute gems (Kane, Bale, Son) who carried the team.

He completely fumbled our best ever team in the PL era and we won fuck all

I actually think fucking up the stadium build distracted the useless bald fucker away from fucking up the football operation while Poch and Paul Mitchell built that team.

Once the stadium was close to being completed we had the gardening leave for Mitchell and the multiple transfer windows without any new players.

When we did buy new players it was the Ndombele, Lo Celso, Jack Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon window which led to Poch's sacking and Jose during lockdown.

Levy undermined all his best managers.

Jol had Carrick and then Berbatov sold. His reward was a half time sacking in a humiliating fashion.

Harry Redknapp asked for Tevez and got Nelson and Saha before he was sacked.

Always Levy.

Caused chaos and then picked up the pieces.

By the time Conte arrived Levy was as washed up and out of time as Sugar.

I think the majority of going fans just want to meet up with their mates , few beers & have a laugh , enjoy or moan at the football & go home.

The online distain is not the same as fans who go . Things may change if we actually fall into the bottom 3

There’s not really a stat for a percentage of attending PL fans who post on forums but in the NFL , it’s around 6-8%

:levyhands::levywhoa:
Now are we sure Joe Lewis isn't in the Epstein files....?

:levysad::levyeyes:

Might make things a helluva lot easier if he just was!

I hoped at the time that the protests were because we were free falling down the league and not just to get rid of Levy. But it seems that it was just the Levy thing. He’s obviously not blameless in where we are now, but surely there are a multitude of reasons to protest on Thursday? But it’s all gone a bit quiet.

Maybe one season has nothing to with the other and everyone is just apathetically accepting where we are? I’m just surprised to not see more movement towards protesting, as we are in a way worse situation this season than we were last.

I can't speak for everyone, but I wanted everyone out, not just Levy.
It may well transpire though that Levy was the best of a bad bunch.

We aren’t. We are higher in the table.

We’re just in the CL instead of EL this season. In fact we finished 4th in the CL which is pretty impressive and very much better than any EL run we were on this time last season.

In what way is it “way worse” other than being lucky enough last season to be playing Europa league footy drawing AZ instead of CL football drawing atletico madrid..?

Use your facts. We aren’t any worse this season in the league. In Europe we have beaten better teams than we beat in the EL. We finished fourth.

We probably won more prize money by getting here than we did during the entire EL run.

If Ange was dealing with the better quality of the relegation scrap this season he’d be in fucking trouble.

We are closer to relegation than we ever were last season though . I think the gap was around 13 points wasn’t it ? ( can’t remember)

Prize money means fuck all with these fuckwits in charge. I think our highest revenue was the CL final season . What did they do ?

I think fans have to care less about prize money as it’s never transpired to ambition
