We aren’t any worse this season in the league.
We have fewer points at the same stage and are dramatically nearer relegation, the nearest the club has come to relegation, by far, since the mid 90's. You don't need that explained to you, stop being a troll.
In Europe we have beaten better teams than we beat in the EL. We finished fourth.
We quite literally failed to beat a team in the CL this year that we beat twice in the EL last year, one of our other wins was Frankfurt who we also beat last season in the EL, and including Frankfurt we beat the teams finishing 31st, 33rd, 34th and 35th out of 36 in the league phase.

Dortmund is the only team we've beaten in the CL better than the sides we were facing in the EL.
If Ange was dealing with the better quality of the relegation scrap this season he’d be in fucking trouble.
Which is not something anyone is arguing against.

You're just trolling, I am not responding anymore, this is a waste of everyone's time.

Use your facts. We aren’t any worse this season in the league. In Europe we have beaten better teams than we beat in the EL. We finished fourth.

We probably won more prize money by getting here than we did during the entire EL run.

We were a far better team last year on all metrics and visually. We were able to knock the ball around and create chances. Now we can't get our foot on the ball unless chasing and can't string 3 or 4 passes together. We've totally regressed.

We beat City 4-0 at the Etihad last season, beat United 3-0 at Old Trafford, beat Villa 4-1 at home, beat City and United in cup games. I couldn't imagine us doing anything like that this season - we are simply not good enough to pull off any of them results anymore. Consistency was awful last year but atleast we showed up some days and could ambush teams! We can't even do that anymore. The best we can hope of is to nick a win and be hanging on riding our luck at the end and our luck has ran out

I hoped at the time that the protests were because we were free falling down the league and not just to get rid of Levy. But it seems that it was just the Levy thing. He’s obviously not blameless in where we are now, but surely there are a multitude of reasons to protest on Thursday? But it’s all gone a bit quiet.

Maybe one season has nothing to with the other and everyone is just apathetically accepting where we are? I’m just surprised to not see more movement towards protesting, as we are in a way worse situation this season than we were last.

The protests have only ever really happened during transfer windows, the numbers and intensity may have changed based on league position......but they almost without exception are only about signings.

Such is the confused state of the club that I feel like people literally don't know who to print on a banner. Who is ENIC?

That is a highly temporary impediment to fan unrest given the state of things, but I think that's where we are at the moment.

Come on, that's a stretch. The fact that teams are in the Champions League this season means they are better opponents than the ones in the Europa league stage.

We are the only team that is in the CL that didn't merit it by domestic performances

Makes you start to wonder if "the lewis family" were sponsoring them

The Frankfurt we played this year was DEFINITELY worse than the one we played last year. No Ekitike and much worse league form.

And the Bodo/Glimt team was quite literally the same, they play in calendar years up there so it was the same season for them.

We definitely played a couple of extremely weak opponents in the EL group phase, but Galatasaray and Roma were better sides than Slavia Prague and Copenhagen.

It's not like we need to apologize to anybody for it, you get the schedule you get, but our CL slate was comically weak this season. We played several teams that would not have been in the competition in the prior format.

68 left to go.
dudu dudu you gonna argue for ENIC until you're blue in the face?
Or just until we're in the Championship
Down to 67

But it wasn't dudu dudu that dropped out.
Still, it can't be as bad as the 90's

We are closer to relegation than we ever were last season though . I think the gap was around 13 points wasn’t it ? ( can’t remember)

Prize money means fuck all with these fuckwits in charge. I think our highest revenue was the CL final season . What did they do ?

I think fans have to care less about prize money as it’s never transpired to ambition
We were 5 points better off at this stage last season.
The only real difference was the bottom 3 were hopeless.
And we lost to 2 of them.

We are dramatically nearer relegation because teams were worse last season. That doesn’t mean we were better last season, it just means teams were worse.

Who is trolling now? We also beat Frankfurt away 2-0 this season (comfortable) while it was a hideous tie for us last season. How are fourth in la liga (Villarreal) not better than teams we played in the EL?

BY FAR better, too.

Good. It’s fucking boring watching you try to pretend last season was so different when factually it isn’t. We will finish on a similar points tally to last season. We will have beaten just as many half decent European team. We will just lose to some top tier one.

You can absolutely argue last season was worse but for the hope of a EL run which has nothing to do with being objectively better.

Seems we are missing a lightning rod.

We could just use “everyone out”?
And assuming we stay up (or perhaps even if we don't) the next gambit is clearly to use Poch as a human shield between them and the fans.

Honestly, it's a poll on TFC - I don't care how it makes me look.

I have said that I want new owners many, many times.
Point of order, is this the same poll as it was under the old "Levy/ENIC" title of this thread? Or did the change wipe away the old votes?

Pretty sure Poch's Spurs took more points from promoted teams than anyone else.
Not sure how he got on with those that ended up relegated, but I'd imagine a lot of them were the same teams.

Probably but I remember it being a theme under Harry too . Can’t be arsed to confirm it as I’m cooking . We’ve always lost to relegated teams
